Legal Campaign group for Human Rights, Environment and Good Governance
Introduction
Legal Campaign Group is a non-profitable, independent common organization of Lawyers who are involved in the field of Human Rights to establish Rule of Law, Democratic norms, peace, social justice , work of the environmental conservation for the sustainable development and awareness program to the local government about concept of decentralization for good governance .
Main Objectives
The main objectives of this organization are as follow:
To raise awareness of the people to promote and protect the legal and constitutional rights of the citizen against their violation and focus the attention of the concerned authority towards it according to the existing law.
Work for the prevention of crimes and demeanors concerning Human Rights by researching the relevant factors to identify long-term solutions.
Apply pressure for the implementation of existing laws for the welfare of people and mobilize the campaigns of public interest litigation.
Activate the achievement and utilization of Human Rights by studying the problems of aborigines (indigenous), minority groups, women, children, vulnerable and disabled people.
Provide legal assistance to the victimized people by adopting the international humanitarian law in relation to war and internal arms conflicts according to Geneva Convention 1949.
Lunch the public awareness programs for the respect of human rights, rule of law, democracy and environmental developments.
Observe the elections and act for the protection of voters' rights.
Produce targets to achieve the above objectives.
Future Plans and action
Pressurize the Government to prepare and provide on demand the investigative reports for the execution of Human Rights violators and incidents according to the law.
Activate for the reforms of unjust existing laws that are contrary to the constitution and ratified international agreements and treaties.
Increase pressure for the effective implementation of International conventions treaties, regulations and agreements made by UN and ILO at National level.
Oppose the killings for which the governments or Maoists are responsible for the name of Civil war.
Advocate in the field of environment conservation and management through local education.
Encourage local people to participate actively for environmental management and empower them to be able to utilize the local resources for the benefits of their local community.
Economic and Physical Resources
The main resources of the organization are from the membership fee and collection of voluntary donations. In future, if we receive financial support from the state, funding agents and from particular function, the accounts will be transparently and regularly provided for members of the public. Any funding Agencies or Social organizations which has similar objectives, are warm welcome to make the world better place for the future generation.
