LoV Trading Contest #Hrmm...I've lost count...
I am so super-duper, incredibly, amazingly, majestically, enthusiastically, energetically thrilled to announce another Legacy of Virtue Trading Contest. Please read clannews 3 for a basic overview of the contest rules. The clan account is looking a little low so we really need everyone to make an effort to start donating to the clan account, even if it's just 250k every once in a while. I would like to add another room to our clantown to move us up a clantown ranking. Plus there are taxes every day that we have to pay. (Woo, that rhymed!) Also, if there is extra money in the clan account, we can use some to purchase eggs so Lorac doesn't have to work quite so hard in keeping our egg rating up. Hehe :) Finally, if people steadily and regularly donate to the clan account, I won't go gray prematurely. I know a lot of people need trading for MLR requirements so this will be a great opportunity for clannies to help one another as you help the clan overall. The contest will run until Saturday, October 7th, 2000 at 3:33pm. Good luck trading! Keep an eye out for updates on prizes and whatnot.

Damanien's Scavenger Hunt #2
Our dangerous Damanien has been up to no good of late. Amazingly, he has gotten away with it, but I am getting ahead of myself. It all started a week ago when our despicable Damanien decided to have a dinner party. He invited a few creative and conspiring characters to his ill-fated event. Our distorted Damanien consulted his ADVOCATUS DIABOLI for just the right recipe for destruction.
He cooked up some appealing appetizers but unknown to his genial guests, they included an extra ingredient that causes loss of dexterity and increased giddiness. He allowed them to eat their fill until they started to show the secret ingredient's effects. In this state, our deplorable Damanien thought
it a good time for his guests to play a game of cubes with A PAIR OF BLACK DICE. The dice were weighted so our deceitful Damanien always won. However, one of his gaudy guests started to catch on eventhough she was full of his poisoned provisions. This woman wore A TIGHT BLACK LEATHER BODICE, a set of IRON-STUDDED BRACERS, plus a pair of BOOTS OF WATER WALKING . And so, this woman with all her elegant equipment started to make a fuss and complain to our distrustful Damanien. Therefore, our somewhat despondent Damanien asked her
to step into another room with him so they could discuss the situation. They retired to the parlor and right as he shut the door, our demonic Damanien stabbed the woman in the back with A CHIPPED OBSIDIAN DAGGER. She died instantly (as she was not sanc'ed) and reappeared in the
middle of the wilderness in a shielded room. Our discourteous Damanien then cackled wickedly and returned to his dinner guests, announcing that the woman had to leave suddenly due to some unfinished business in the wilderness. The party concluded shortly after as his guests became really too clumsy to even throw the dice properly. They left completely unsuspecting that they had been duped by our devious Damanien.
The first clannie to send all the equipment listed above in all
CAPS to Damanien (NOT Asmira) will receive 500 eggs plus 2 million
gold coins. Second clannie to do so will receive 250 eggs and 750,000 gold coins.
Third place is 133 eggs. Additionally, the first two clannies to send Damanien 5
flasks of venomous oil will receive 1 million gold coins each. Good Luck and Happy Hunting!!!
