AMERICAN PRIDE
Legacy Entertainment: A Creator’s Co-op

As September 11th rears it’s ugly head our way, it also stands as a reminder of what this country is all about. Though tragic, the terrorist attacks showed the rest of the world that America is a strong country; one that will stick together, one that will stand strong and one that will kick the $#!% out of anyone who dares mess with our way of life (or for you country fans: one that will put a boot in your @$$!).

As a combined group of independent creators, Legacy Entertainment: ACC wanted to honor all those Americans who lost loved ones during this tragic event. A charity book was formed and members began crafting their feelings into pin-ups and stories. We titled the book American Pride to honor our country’s state of mind. With the Red Cross’ relief fund reaching a hefty budget (we at Legacy salute America for your generosity!!!), we looked for another cause to help out. In the Picture The Homeless Foundation, we found a cause that was worth our attention… and yours.

Lending their talents to American Pride are the following Legacy Entertainment: ACC members: Triumph Comics (Ed Davis), Star Cross Studio (Joe Spicer, Amado and Mark Irwin), Cream City Comics (Amado Rodriguez), Newbreed Comix (Frank Parr), Illusion Studios (Steve Vasquez, Barbi Roberts and Wayne Smith), Atom Strange Graphics (Andy Tom) and Black Market Comics (Steve Williams, Corey Grant, Bob Volbreet and Jeremy Grant). Printed on the flip side of American Pride is a bonus Illusion Studios story Visage: Fallout. Written and penciled by Steve Vasquez, scripted by Wayne Smith & Barbi Roberts, inked by Frank Parr and lettered by the Desperate Apostles. Visage: Fallout deals with the “Ethic Prejudice” that Americans had to deal with after the terrorist attacks.

Covers were provided by: Mark Jones (G-Fan Magazine) and Steve Vasquez/ Frank Parr/ Mitch Ames (Illusion Studios).

American Pride is a 32 page comic book, priced at $2.99. Please contact Wayne Smith or Barbi Roberts at:
