Blurred Vision

If we could only say what we mean
Lost moments of time that matter
Linger on the edge of oblivion
Underneath a fallen leaf
Surely once nurtured by the purpose
If we could only say what we mean
Our name would be more than arderous thought
Not fleeting of our own misgivings
Over time we've lost the mean
Finding something we know nothing of
Let a form grace our paths
Or may we be rended to the earth once more
Volume of a passing known to give
Entry to what may be

Retreating to what we think we know
Every once in a while it will show
Allured by animate precision
Lies seeded by wanton desires
Assured by the guidance of a deep rooted fear
Simple solution with a willful conviction
Is the remedy hard to hear
Take what you need in stride
Make what you want in representation
As many things will pass by
Your wonder will reside
Something always pulls you from within
Every moment of beauty is a test
Every moment a smile is shown to say
May be 1
