Gabriel is played by Michael Kelly. Gabriel and Victoria Cashman were lovers in the late 1700's. They planed to marry despite her father's objection to their difference in class and race. Cassandra Berenger placed a curse on the lovers that would reunite them in every life time they lived and always leave them without each other in tragic heartbreak. Gabriel at some point became the modern day Addie's gaurdian angel, he vowed to keep her free of Cassandra's demonic influence, but could not fall in love with Miss Peyton of reveal his heavenly identity.
