We are bringing this sad news to all our relatives and friends that our most beloved father and grandfather

The late
JAN (JOHN) RATKOWSKI



member of Foresters Number 1595 of St. Boleslaw, after a short and difficult illness, said farewell to this world, after being provided with the Blessed Sacraments, on April 2, 1927, at 3 in the morning, he was advanced in years.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday, on the 12th of April, at 9:30 in the morning, at the funeral home, Number 1921, Balmoral Ave., then in the church of Most Holy Virgin Mary of the Angels, and then at the cemetery of St. Adalbert [Chicago] to the family plot.

To this sad event we are inviting all our relatives and friends, overwhelmed by great sorrow are:

Stanislaw and Bronislaw, sons: Wiktorja, Franciszka and Jozefa, daughters; Franciszek Telinski, Marjan Bilicki and Robert Schultz, sons-in-law: Jozefa Czaplowska, sister-in-law; Jozef Zmich, brother-in-law; grandsons and granddaughters, together with the whole family.

The Funeral Director is Drygalski, 1455 W. Superior St. Telefon Monroe 3170.



**Marjan would be Marian in Polish, Marion in English Jozef-in English-Joseph Jozefa in English-Josie or Josephine Franciszek-Francis Franciszka-Frances Stanislaw-Stanley or Stan Bronislaw-?(no English version)[possibly Bruno] Wiktorja should be in Polish-Wiktoria-Victoria in English Marjan and Wiktorja were Americanized or misspelled.**

The funeral will take place on Monday, 2nd of Nov. of this year, at 9 in the morning, at the funeral home at Number 35 Churchill St. then at the church of St. Jadwiga (Hedwig) and then at the cemetery of St. Adalbert [Chicago].

For this sad event we are inviting all our relatives and friends, overwhelmed by great sorrow are:

Jan Ratkowski, husband; Stanislaw, Wiktorya, Franciszka, Jozefa and Bronislaw, children; Jozefa Czaplewska and Apolonia Zmich sisters; Jakob Czaplewski and Jozef Zmich, brothers-in-law; toghether with the whole family.



**Her first name in Polish would be MARIANNA, it was Americanized. Wiktorya would be WIKTORIA Jakob-Jacob-in English
