The groom's family will perform "setting bridal bed" ritual. In this ritual, the groom's family will invite a respected female relative or friend to set the bridal bed at the bed room. In some part of the China in old days, a unmarried young boy will be invited to sleep on the bridal bed the night before the wedding to bring fertility to the newlyweds.
Other than that, the groom's family will decorate the bridal house for the wedding while the bride's family prepares household accessories.
