Katie's Story
Katie is the great-great-granddaughter of my wonder OTCH Lana vom Kreuzberg and has inherited that twinkle in her eye that Lana had. When I chose her, she was still wet from
being born and the noisiest pup in the whelping box ..... nothing has changed!
She can hear someone coming long before any other dog is aware that company is arriving and she sounds the alarm. She has been a wonderful mother and the easiest whelper of all
my girls. Her "kids" have always been smart ..... sometimes too smart! Katie was never very happy in the conformation ring. I believe she thought it was beneath her, so I never pushed the point. It's too bad I didn't
since she has such an elastic, easy flowing gait. Even now at 7 years of age she floats across the yard. What a joy to watch! She did pass that on to her sons, Ch. Dragenhart's Toolman and Leevenrob's Quincy (pointed & group
placing).
Katie is now a proud member of the 'Thirteen Club' and is still a healthy and happy senior. Here she is with her birthday cake on her special day, along with some very special
friends!

Katie's daughter, Trixie, will be taking over for her mom here at Leevenrob and will hopefully be bred in the Spring of 2008.
