Our first week in SA
We've arrived yesterday here in Cape Town and the first thing that we saw was that it's all so beautiful here! Of course that's partly because the weather is nice and sunny and it's 34 degrees here! We've spent our first day on the beach and got pretty tanned. The tanning goes so much faster than in Holland! We had to buy new sunblock because otherwise we would be as red as a burned tomato!
Tomorrow we're going to plett. We probably don't have a computer there so I'll tell you already that this is the last post for two weeks. Right now I also have to hurry because here the internet is payed by the minutes you have it connected. Therefore I can't add many pictures and other funky stuff to it. I'll do that later! Today I bought prepaid for my cell phone and Sasha bought a new sim cart. We can't use our own phones and sim carts because you need dual-band here, and we don't have that. I borrowed my phone from Anna, the girl that went to South-Africa last year, thanks for that! Tonight we are having a braai. That's a South-African barbeque. It's much bigger and there's so much more meat! Looking forward to that! I have to stop now otherwise this all will cost a fortune! Byee and greetings from South-Africa!  |
