Prince Harry Eyes Duff's Romance

British royal Prince Harry is on a mission to woo screen beauty Hilary Duff - after being stunned by her beauty while watching The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

The hunky prince has reportedly become infatuated with the singer-turned-actress and is romancing her over a series of romantic phone calls.

And Duff, who is supposedly dating actor Jordan Masterson is delighted by her new beau - and is already planning to meet up with him in his native London soon.

A source tells The Daily Star "Harry initiated the contact with Hilary. He pulled a few strings and was able to get his private telephone number to her. He was thrilled when she called.

"They've just started talking on a regular basis. It's a case of puppy love for both of them."

Excited Hilary told a pal, "This is just like a fairytale and he's my Prince Charming."

Duff's Individual Brand of Music

Teen superstar Hilary Duff ignored her influences when recording debut album, because she's determined to carve out a name for herself.

The 16-year-old resisted the temptation of copying her favorite artists when she entered the studio to record 2003's Metamorphosis.

She says, "There are definitely people I respect and I love their music, but there was never really an artist that I said, 'I want to be just like them, I love the way their career is going, I love their music.'

"It wasn't really like that. I wanted to be like myself."

"Drama Queen" Smackdown: Lindsay Takes Hilary

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Redhead Lindsay Lohan wins this round.

The "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" star has edged out Hilary Duff as the top teen queen. According to Screensavers.com, downloads of Lohan have now exceeded those of her blonde rival.

The website's Top 10 female celebrity download index lists Lohan in seventh place, with Duff nipping her heels at No. 8. No doubt the recent success of Lohan's "Drama Queen," which topped the box office in second place, has increased her appeal.

The rivalry between the starlets began in the summer of 2003, when Lohan's boyfriend, singer Aaron Carter, dumped her for Duff and then attended the premiere of Lohan's "Freaky Friday" with his new ladylove. A similar ruckus occurred at Duff's "Cheaper by the Dozen" premiere later that December, when Duff's overprotective mother demanded that Lohan leave the premises of Grauman's Chinese Theater.

The animosity extends to their professional lives as well. The "Drama Queen" role -- which was originally written for Duff -- was reportedly handed to Lohan after Duff couldn't work it into her schedule. In another strange coincidence, "One Tree Hill's" Chad Michael Murray who portrayed Lohan's love interest in "Freaky Friday" will now play opposite Duff in her upcoming "A Cinderella Story."

Even the music industry is proving to be a battleground for the cute teens. With Duff's debut album "Metamorphosis" still enjoying healthy sales on the Billboard Music charts, Lohan can't be far behind. Already, she's made a five-album production deal with music producer Emilio Estefan, Jr, and showed off her pipes singing "Ultimate" in "Freaky Friday."

"We're seeing the Lindsay vs. Hilary brawl being played out right before our eyes ... literally and figuratively," says Adam Solomon, General Manager of Screensavers.com. "The numbers are quite close, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see some back and forth ..."

The feud shows signs of slowing down, however, with Lohan recently announcing a wish to make peace and impulsively shouting "I love you, Hilary Duff!" on MTV's "TRL." Whether this will affect either fan base remains to be seen.

Other stars making the Top 10 download index include: Britney Spears at the top spot, Jennifer Lopez, "Average Joe 2's" Larissa Meek, Janet Jackson, bootylicious Beyonce, dirrty girl Christina Aguilera, Marilyn Monroe and Ashanti.

Lohan currently stars in "Drama Queen," which made 9.3 million its opening weekend and will next star in "Mean Girls" in April. Duff follows suit in July with "A Cinderella Story."
