Biography
Hilary Ann Duff was born September 28th, 2004. She was born in Houston, Texas and lived a great life. As she grew up she took up dancing and went to a Performing Arts school which also was a great private school. When she was little she also enjoyed acting and singing. When, Haylie and Hilary were watching TV they would turn it off and then act out what they just saw. Haylie always said, "Since you have short ugly hair and I have long pretty hair you have to be the boy and I get to be the girl!" Hilary also liked doing gymnastics. When, she say her sister acting she just had to do it, too. When they asked their mom she didn't take it as a joke. She knew they were serious. So they landed in a couple commericials and then a lady came to their house. She said she could get them some roles if they moved to California and paid her. So they gave her the money and when they got there she didn't even return their calls! Hilary's mother, Susan, read tons of books on the agency and how to get an agent. By 1997 she was in "True Women". The movies just kept coming with "Casper Meets Wendy" (1998) and "Soul Collector" (1999) and even after all of that, she wasn't really famous. Then came 2001. Her big year. Not because of her movie "Human Nature" but because of her TV series. Lizzie McGuire. Hilary beat 500 other girls for the lead role! After that people could not resist her. She was in the Disney Channel movie "Cadet Kelly", but what really changed her life was when she became a singer. Her singing debut was "I Can't Wait" in August 2002 for the Lizzie McGuire Soundtrack. She just kept on getting new CD's. She was featured in Disney Mania and her debut album Santa Claus Lane was released! She hit the big screen for the first time in five years with "Agent Cody Banks" and "The Lizzie McGuire Movie". After that her acting life was on pause for a little while. She was busy with her newest album Metamorphosis which later became triple platinum! That means it sold over 3,000,000 copies! With singles like "Why Not", "So Yesterday", and "Come Clean" she easily reached number one. Christmas Day she was in "Cheaper by the Dozen". She has not only finished filming "A Cinderella Story" and "Heart of Summer", but she has started working on her brand new album! On June 16th, "A Cinderella Story" will be realized. Once a little Texan dreamer, now a Californian super star.
