1. But I will bury him; and if I must die, I say this crime is holy; I shall lie down
with him in death, and I shall be as dear to him as he to me
This quote tells the other people who are against burying the man that she, Antigone will bury her brother and if she has to give her life to bury her brothers life then she will.  She thinks this crime is a holy one and will not be punished by the gods for it.  She will join her brother in death because she was a good brother to him and she will repay her brother by giving up her life for him.  This quote tells a lot about Antigone personality and how she will remain faithful to her brother.

2. Think me a fool, if you like; but it may well be that a fool convicts me of folly
Maybe the king might think she is a fool to give up her life to bury her brothers but she says that, that is fine with her because in her eyes she sees the person who is the fool is the person who is going to kill her for burying her brother.  This is what I thought about the quote.  This quote gives the reader the thought that burying the man is the right thing to do and that the king might be the fool in this case.

3. The dead man and the gods who rule the dead know whose acts this was words are not friends
I think this quote say that her brother and the gods who rule the dead know that she is doing the right thing and that the king who wants to kill her for burying her brother is the person who is doing the wrong thing.  Antigone believes that she is doing the right thing no matter who is going to kill her or what other people tell her.  This says a lot about Antigones character it say that she doesnt care what other people think or do, if she thinks its the right thing to do shes going to do it.

Reflective chart scene 3 and 4

Quote from the chapter What I think What this says about the book What this says about the world
In flood time you can see how some trees bend and because they bend, even their twigs are safe, while the stubborn trees are torn up roots and all Pg. 961  I think that this is very right about people in the world.  The rulers and leaders of countries have to consider other peoples decisions because if they dont the people they are ruling will overthrow the government and the leaders.   This quote tells the reader that since Creon is so close-minded the people he is ruling are already having troubles with the decisions he has just made.  He will not listen to anyone and his son tells him that he has to be open to other peoples opinions or else they will be very upset.  This tells a lot about the world today and back then because when a leader doesnt take and advise from anyone then the people in his country will try to overthrow him and that might cause civil wars and battles between groups of people.  The leaders have to hear what the people want and need for that leader to become a good leader.
It is not right if I am wrong. But if I am young, and right, what does my age matter. Pg. 962 I think this is correct because in the long run it doesnt matter how old you are if your right.  Age doesnt always come with wisdom and that is what I think Creons son is saying.   This quote tells me the reader that Creons son is already wiser than his father and is open to the peoples opinions and wants to hear what the people think and is open minded about new things and Creon is not and the people are having problems with that.   This says a lot about the world it say that older people might not always be right they might be stuck in the past and might not be as open to new opinions and change by the people.  Younger people might be as right as people that are old and might have opinions of there own that might help the people.
I shall know the truth in death.  But if the guilt lies upon Creon who judged me, then, I pray may his punishment equal to my own. Pg. 968 I think this quote means when Antigone is dead she will find out for sure that Creon was wrong in the decision of putting her to death and she hopes the gods punish him for what he has done to her.  This quote lets the reader know that Antigone still thinks what she did is right and she believe the gods support her decision in the matter and many bad things will start happening to Creon because he has sentenced Antigone to death.   This say that the people alive on Earth wont know if the things they do are right and might be punish for doing something bad in the future.  This is what Antigone is talking about because Creon has done something wrong she hopes that the gods will punish him for what he has done.
