The Journey Begins
When Professor Challenger stumbles upon the writings of a dying William Maple White and his claims that he discovered a lost plateau, he mounts an expedition to find it for himself. He's joined by Professor Summerlee of the Zoological Society, the famous hunter, Lord John Roxton, a newspaperman, Edward Malone, and the financier of the expedition, the beautiful heiress, Marguerite Krux. Upon their arrival they meet Veronica Layton, a beautiful jungle girl who takes them into her home. This is the beginning to grand adventures where they all find more than they ever imagined.
Stranded
Desperate for a way home, the explorers befriend the Zangas through Veronica's best friend, Assai. When negotiations don't quite go Marguerite's way, she promises the Zanga chief something she can not give, Veronica. Things take a turn for the worse when apemen attack the tree house and take the Zanga chief's daughter, Assai, captive. The explorers mount a quick rescue search to save Assai, leaving Marguerite alone with Veronica to fend off an eager Zanga chief.
More Than Human
After the explorers take an unlucky tumble into a whirlpool, they find themselves in unfamiliar territory and captured by lizard-men. Lord Roxton is forced to fight for his life as a gladiator while his other friends are at the mercy of a power hungry Tribune.
Nectar
When Summerlee is stung by a bee, it's up to Veronica, Roxton, and Malone to find a cure. Marguerite and Challenger are left to take care of the dying Summerlee while protecting the tree house from attack against the apemen.
Cave of Fear
While out looking for sulphur for gunpowder, Challenger, Veronica, and Malone stumble into a tribal burial ground where Challenger gets himself captured. Held prisoner by their queen, Cassandra, it's up to the others to free him by setting out on a quest to make up for Challenger's act of taboo. While Veronica and Malone find themselves on the run from raptors, Marguerite and Roxton find themselves in a cave where things are not always as they seem.
Salvation
After Summerlee saves the life of a young girl, he and Challenger are captured by a tribe called the Christecs. Summerlee is accused of witchcraft and it is up to Challenger to defend him.
Blood Lust
Out in the jungle, Roxton gets bitten by a man who infects him with a vampiric disease. After attacking Challenger and Marguerite, Roxton finds way to the house of Callista, a woman infected by the same sickness. Back at the tree house, a native named Niko appears and tries to buy Veronica and challenges Malone to a fight to the death over her.
Out of Time
While out searching for a way off the plateau, Marguerite, Roxton, and Malone encounter a strange fog. Marguerite is identified as a druid priestess and is sent on a mission to retrieve two emeralds and save the druids. Back at the tree house, Veronica and Challenger find an abandoned baby out in the jungle.
Paradise Found
Veronica and Challenger find an old man running through the jungle. With his last dying breaths, the man identifies himself as Sinta, one of the bearers that came to the plateau with Veronica's parents. He gives Veronica her mother's locket as proof. The explorers set out in search for Veronica's parents with the aid of Sinta's map and stumble into paradise. Or is it...?
The Beast Within
Malone dashes into the jungle upon hearing a woman cry out. In his hurry, he accidentally springs a trap and gets shot by a poison dart. Back at the tree house tempers flare between Marguerite and Veronica. What better way to resolve them by getting trapped in an out of use well?
Creatures of the Dark
The explorers duck into a cave to avoid pursuit by a group of Vantus but an inopportune earthquake strands Marguerite, Malone, and Challenger in the cave with a quickly dimishing air supply. It's up to Veronica to get back to the tree house and get help from Roxton and Summerlee. Can they save them before their air runs out?
Tribute
While out looking for an oceanic route off the plateau, Challenger, Veronica, and Roxton run into a woman running for her life on the beach. After saving her life, they find out her tribe, the Tinta, have to give up people to sacrifice to the tribe that protects them, the Hikari. Meanwhile, Marguerite, Malone, and Summerlee find a plane in the jungle with a wounded German pilot who has a score to settle with Marguerite.
Absolute Power
In the ruins of an old city, Challenger finds a sketch of an atom. After putting a missing piece back in place he is struck by a bolt of energy and gains godlike powers.
Camelot
Camelot in the jungle, knights in shining armor, a fire breathing dragon, evil grand vizier. Need I say more?
Unnatural Selection
Challenger, Roxton, and Veronica save a young girl from being attacked by apemen. Much to Challenger's surprise, she is the daughter of his old friend, Dr. William Hargrove, but something is not quite right. Meanwhile, Marguerite, Malone, and Summerlee go on a quest to find an old woman and a radio and unusual things happen.
Time After Time
While out hunting, Roxton accidentally shoots a young woman whom upon waking, acts very suspicious. Meanwhile, Marguerite, Challenger, and Malone may have stumbled onto a way off the plateau.
Prodigal Father
On the way back from a successful trading trip, Roxton, Malone, and Marguerite find a man tied up to a tree and left to die. It's Veronica's father! They reunite them and try to protect Tom Layton against a man who is persistently hunting him.
Birthright
Marguerite, Malone, and Challenger find a man buried alive. Ramses, the rightful pharoah of his people, asks for their help to put him back on his throne. In another part of the jungle, Summerlee tampers with the eggs of a mother T-Rex and it's up to Roxton and Veronica to make sure he doesn't get eaten!
Resurrection
While out exploring for a mountain pass off the plateau, Marguerite and Roxton run into trouble from a little fellow named Osric. Meanwhile, Veronica and Malone are charged with protecting the treehouse against an armed group who want it for themselves.
Prophecy
Roxton, Malone, Marguerite, and Veronica run into a traveling gypsy who can tell the future and it looks grim for one of the explorers. Challenger and Summerlee encounter trouble with intelligent raptors while searching for plants.
Chosen One
Marguerite and Roxton save a young boy and his mentor from an attack by armed men. With his last dying breaths, the mentor asks Roxton to protect the star of hope which Gideon, the young boy, carries. Back at the tree house, it's Malone's birthday. But trouble ensues when a msyterious woman shows up.
Barbarians at the Gate
The explorers get ready to say goodbye to Veronica and go home to London. Add Tribune and a hostile group of natives with gunpowder to the mix and watch what happens.
