Sanger Elementary is a kindergarten through sixth grade school in Hobbs, New Mexico. It is located in and serves an area in the central part of the Hobbs Municipal School District. The student population has diverse backgrounds and a wide range of academic abilities. Hobbs is located in the Southeastern corner of New Mexico, approximately three miles from the Texas border. Oil is one of the main industries in our community. |

Mrs. Morin is a Lovington High School graduate and she received an Associate in Science from New Mexico Junior Collegeand a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting from Texas Tech University. She practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for 15 years, then returned to college and earned a Masters in the Arts of Teaching with a major in special education from Western New Mexico University in 1994. She also holds K-12 certification in the area of Language Arts and K-8 Elementary Certification. Mrs. Morin is an Intel Master Teacher. She is a Certified Language Therapist using the Alphabetic Phonics method based on Orton-Gillingham research. She has taught a total of 15 years--grades 8 and 9 for 2 years and in the elementary grades for 13 years. |
