| Now first of all, these codes were the easiest way that I could set colors without coming up with duplicates. As long as you know the color #�s then its real easy. If you do want to use the codes it�s easy to just copy the entire list & paste into your chatalias.dna file. If you do not know where to find the file, its simple. Open my computer >> open C drive >> Program files >> Hardwood Euchre or Spades or Hearts The chatalias.dna file is within each of these games after you create your first bind in any lobby. If you do not have a chatalias file please make a simple bind in a lobby, you can use the first on the list but will need to enter it slightly different. Copy & paste this line in to the lobby: /bind 0102=~[j1]~[c2] If you did this correctly, you will see a blue 0102: entered in response. If you do not see it, you made it incorrectly. Copy & paste & try again. OK, back to installing this list. First of & very importantly close your hardwood games that you have open. This will not save unless it is. Within the Hardwood Euchre, Hearts or Hardwood Spades folder .You should see a chatalias.dna file. Open this & you will see a list of binds. It may have just the one that we created, it may have several. Your PC naturally will not recognize a .dna file, use �pick from list� and choose notepad or MS word. If you do not have that option, you can right click on the file & selct �open with� then choose notepad or MS word. At this point please make sure that you have no binds that are already using any of these codes. Look through your list of binds and check them. The code is what you will use, to use the bind in the future. In our first example it was 0102. If you had to use the example bind to create your first bind, please delete that line in your chatalias file. If you have the same codes used for other binds, you have to choose a way around a problem. I do not want to be responsible for you not being able to use your old binds. Rename the old binds or do not proceed. Please take a look at the entire list, the first several hundred are 4 digit codes, the last 18 are the 18 color codes to type in plain color with no outlines at all. But those are boring now. For those that want to continue, copy the list of binds below, then paste them into the chatalias.dna file. Under the file tab, you sill see a �save� option, save the file & close it. I tested all of these color combinations, and removed the ones that I thought were just plain aweful. am working to get this list available for all via screen shots, so you can see what they all look like. You are ready to go crazy typing in almost all possible colors. I know it�s a lot, but I just used the 18 main colors that HW uses, not all the possible HTML color options. I am not that crazy. For a good list of alternate colors visit this site http://users.rcn.com/giant.interport/COLOR/ColorSpecifier.html In the right column there is a 6 digit code. You can use it the same way within HardWood like this ~[c FFBBFF] for a plum color. This site has way more than 18 colors, imagine the possibilities. Have fun with them!! |
