Part 3

Chapter 2

"Done Dying for the Past."

"You sure you want to go?" Ka asked as she handed Leela her star-pendent.

"Hai....I need time with my parents and Anesan. Its been a vary long time since I saw them last." She looked at the ground. 'Take care you three, be extra good for Otousan alright?" She bent down to hug Lothen and the twins goodbye.

'Your leaving these three here?" Ka looked at them.

"Hai, Lotanks and I.....er..came to an agreement. I go back with Sin's...." She paused to think of what to say, "these three, and leave his children with him for the time being." She looked away from Ka so she wouldn't see the tears well up and drip down her cheek.

"He's being so immature! He has no right to act this way. I mean it's not like you had a choice about Des, Ki and Kin." Ka kicked a rock and crossed her arms.

"Try explaining it to him, he hears what he wants to hear." Leela replied sadly.

"We'll miss you Kit." Ka said quietly with a cracked voice. Leela turned and hugged her.

"Kaasan? When will you be back?" Meeli tugged at her skirt. Leela let go of Ka and picked her up.

"I'm not sure sweety, Otousan and I need some time to think things through ok?" He tapped Meeli's chin with her forefinger.

"Ok." Meeli sniffed and hugged her. Leela patted her back then put her down. Meela looked like she was ready to cry. Leela kneeled and hugged her tight.

"It's ok Meela-chan, don't cry." Leela said quietly as Meela cried on her shoulder. Lothen and Meeli came up and Leela embraced all three one last time. Leela held them as she heard the 0other Majins arrival.

"Give our regards to Leeli will you?" Tsuko replied as Leela stud up. Leela nodded with a small smile. She picked up Kin and held one of Kiyoshi's hands after pushing the top-point. Destiny took Ki's other hand.

"Ganbatte kudasai Leela-san." Kristal called out as all four stepped into the chrome sphere. Kin clung to Leela's neck and Kiyoshi's grip tightened on her hand as they passed through the portal. Leela stepped foreword and the portal closed behind them. Leela stared at the kill she had fallen asleep on the day Leeli first went through the portal. Kin's black tiger stripped tail wrapped around her arm in fear.

"Its ok Kin, you don't have to be scared." She put her cheek on his forehead in reassurance. They had landed by Goku's house.

"Come on, lets go see Mrs. Bulma." Leela smiled to hide her sorrow.

"Obaasan's house?" Destiny looked up at her with a smile, Leela laughed.

"I guess she's your Obaasan in a way." She smiled back.

"Yay!" Kiyoshi clapped his hands.

"Do you two remember how to fly?" Leela asked and looked up at the sky.

"Hai!" Both Destiny and Kiyoshi replied simultaneously.

"Ok then, lets go." She lifted up into the air fallowed by the two youngsters. An hour later they landed in-front of Cap. Corp. House. Leela went hesitantly to the door and rang the bell.

"Coming!" Bulma's voice came to them a moment later. She opened the door and gasped. "Kitten?!" She rushed foreword and hugged her the moment Leela put Kin down.

"Hi Mrs. B." She smiled and gave her a tight hug. Bulma let go to arms length.

"Look at you! You've changed so much from the last time I saw you!" She commented with a laugh.

"I've....been through a lot since then." She replied and picked Kin back up again.

"And who is this?" Bulma asked and smoothed his hair.

"This is Kin, the other little boy is Kiyoshi or Ki and the little girl is Destiny or Des for short." Leela pointed to the two beside her.

"What's their last name?" Bulma asked as she bent down to look closer at the two other children. Destiny turned her pink eyes to her mother.

"Well.....their father doesn't have a last name....so I just use 'san'." Leela replied quietly, not really wanting to explain things at the moment.

"I thought....." Bulma looked up at her, " You will explain it to me later wont you?" She asked and stud up. Leela nodded with a sigh of relief. "Come inside Des, Ki there's cookies on the table." The two smiled and ran inside.

"I didn't know you made cookies." Leela smiled.

"Well Chris absolutely loves them so I make them for him." Bulma smiled and closed the door behind them.

"Chris?" Leela looked at her with a furrowed brow.

"My grandson, third actually. Elie and Billy are his older brothers." She laughed. They sat and talked a couple of hours until Kin fell asleep on the floor with his new coo-coo train in one hand. Kiyoshi was playing with his toy car and Destiny was asleep on the couch with her teddy-bear when Leela noticed.

"I better get going, I want to go see Leeli before it gets dark." Leela smiled and picked Destiny and Kin up.

"Don't be a stranger Leela, I'd like to see my little ones again and soon." Bulma gave her a quick hug and walked them to the door.

"Bye Baasan! And thank you for the cookies." Kiyoshi stuffed a cookie in his mouth then ran up to her and gave her a hug.

"Bye Ki, your welcome just make sure to be good till I see you again." She kissed him on the cheek then put him back down. She turned to Leela and handed her a bag. "Here's some cookies for the road." Leela hugged her then began walking down the steps. "Wait! Here catch!" Bulma threw her a pink capsule with the #4 on it. Leela looked at it.

"I can't believe you still have this!" Leela turned and smiled.

"I saved it until you came back. I knew how much you loved it so I kept it safe." Bulma smiled back. Leela pushed the button and threw the capsule. Leela's old hover car appeared with a boom. She looked back at Bulma and smiled.

'You're the greatest Bulma-san." She said as she put the kids into the car. The two boys sat in back due to their smaller size. She smiled as her youth's memories flooded back. Leela no longer felt old, but more of a teen again. The car shot down the street with it's occupants screaming with excitement.

"Ok. Lets see,"Leela looked around, "I remember their house being somewhere around here..." She looked from side to side. Suddenly a ball came whizzing in-front of them. Leela pushed the capsule button a split second later knowing a little kid would run into the street after it. The car vanished as a little girl stopped at the curb. Leela picked up the ball and handed it to her.

"Doumo arigatou gozaimasu!" The little girl smiled and ran back to the yard. Leela took a closer look at the house, gasped and looked at the little girl. She was about five years old as far as Leela could tell. Leela picked up Kin and walked up to the door with the other two right behind her. She turned to the two children.

"Go ahead and play. I'll call you when you need to come inside ok?" She bent down and kissed each one on the forehead.

"Ok Kaasan." Kiyoshi replied and ran to the backyard, with Destiny trailing behind him. Leela stud up and took a deep breath, she knocked on the door and waited.

"Hello?" A boy with blond hair answered the door. Leela blinked and stared with an open mouth.

"Is Leeli here?" She asked and swallowed hard.

"Kaasan! It's for you!" The boy yelled into the house. He had to be somewhere in his teens, or so Leela though.

"Who is it?" Leeli yelled back.

"Some lady with a kid!" He replied quickly. Footsteps came to the door and the boy went off to another room.

"Look if your looking for Tru.....Oh Kame...Leela?" Leeli was whipping her hands on a dish towel. "When did get back?" She smiled and stepped aside for her to come in.

"Ano.....Well...it's a long story, I came back to visit you, Bulma-san, Okaasan and Otousan for a little while." Leela said quietly. " Lotanks and I needed some time apart..." She continued and sat down on a sofa.

"Ah....I see." Leeli replied gently. "Well I'm glad you came to visit, it's been a long time since I saw you last." She smiled. "Oh would you like some tea or something?" Leela shook her head.

"No thanks, I'm fine." She commented as another boy walked into the room with cookies in his hands.

"Hi." He said just before stuffing a cookie in his mouth.

"Hi, you must be Chris." Leela smiled at the young boy.

"How did you know that?" The boy asked with a surprised look on his face.

"I talked to your Obaasan earlier today. She told me you love cookies." She smiled. Kin who was sitting on her lap saw the cookies in his hand. He looked up at his mother and tugged at her sleeve.

"Kaasan may I have a cookie?" He put a thumb in his mouth.

"I'll get you one!" Chris ran back into the kitchen.

"Hey Leeli, do you know where.....hhheeelllooo." Trunks walked into the living room. He paused when he saw Leela, he gave a weird smile and sized her up.

"Trunks, you remember Kitten don't you?" Leeli interrupted.

"Kitten? Masaka.....she's a ting little brainy-ack." Trunks replied with a surprised expression.

"Trunks you wouldn't know a megabyte from a hard-drive if it bit you in the face." Leela replied sarcastically.

"Ie....Trunksie no believey....." He said looking at her.

'Now, what were you asking?" Leeli asked after a moment of silence. Trunks snapped out of his trance and looked at her.

"Where's the coffee?" He gave a sheepish grin.

"In the cupboard on the right." She smirked as he went back into the kitchen. The blond haired boy came down the stairs and went into the kitchen.

"Kaasan! Bad dad's messing up the kitchen!" A shout came from the kitchen as what sounded like pans falling subsided.

"Not again..." Leeli rubbed her temples. "I'll be right back" She walked into the kitchen. Leela looked around and noticed a little boy reading on the steps of the stairs.

"Here you go." Chris was back and was handing Kin a cookie.

"Doumo arigatou gozaimasu!" Kin took it into his hands and started eating it slowly.

"Your welcome." Chris sat down next to them. Leeli came back into the room.

"Good Dads home!" The little boy on the stairs shouted and ran to the door.

"Are all of these your kids?" Leela asked with a laugh.

"Oh, ie! The three boys are Trunks'. My only is somewhere outside.' She laughed then explained about the 'good dad/bad dad' thing as Goten came in carrying the little girl Leela had seen earlier on his shoulder.

"Hey Leeli, where did those other two kids out...side.....come from....." Goten stopped as he noticed Leela.

"They're mine." Leela said quietly.

"Who are you?" He asked quickly hoping he didn't sound rude and the little girl down.

"Lets put it this way, you haven't seen me for...about fifteen years and the last time you saw me was when I went through the DP." Leela smiled devilishly, loving the guessing game. The tension in her wore off and she stud up with Kin again.

"Masaka....Leela?" His brows furrowed as he stared at her.

"In the flesh." She laughed. "Its nice seeing you again to Ani." She smirked.

"Gaki." Goten smirked then ruffled her hair. She smiled, thinking things hadn't changed a bit.

"Come here Kim.' Leeli bent down with a smile and picked up the little girl. Leela started laughing again.

"What's so funny?" Trunks walked into the living room with a big cup of coffee. He walked over to them with a startled expression. He looked at Kin and smiled.

"What's your name little dude?" He asked and ruffled his hair.

"His name's Kin, he's being shy right now." Leela smiled.

"Kin?" Leeli, Goten and Trunks all said simultaneously. Leela nodded nervously.

"He'd be a V.Briefs right?" Leeli asked looking concerned.

"Well.....Dareka ga.....no.....he's not....he's a...son of Sin." She choked out the words and sat down heavily while putting Kin down on the floor. The others stared at her with mixed expression. She looked at the floor, not daring to meet their eyes. Kin got up and walked over to the stairs. Silence filled the house.

"Come on Leela, your fine now." Leeli tried to sound reassuring. Leela nodded and looked at Kin.

"Kin-san, can you go get your brother and sister for me?" She asked with a smile. Kin nodded, his blond hair falling into his face. Everyone sat down and talked for a while.

"YOU HAVE HOW MANY CHILDREN?!" Leeli spit out her soda, showering Trunks.

"Ruko..." Leela laughed nervously. "The three oldest are with their father." She tried not to sound depressed or sad.

"Doumo Leeli, I needed that." Trunks whipped his face off with his sleeve, but Leeli hadn't heard him.

"So......that's why you two separated temporarily?" She asked now understanding. Leela nodded solemnly

"If you ask me, he doesn't deserve you if he is so damn pig-headed." Leeli said with a sly smile. 'I told you from the beginning that pansy wasn't right for you." Leela laughed and nodded.

"I know." She smiled and turned to watch the three children come in. Destiny walked up to her and gave her a hug Leela put her on her knee and played with her long white hair.

"Now that's something you don't see everyday." Trunks commented, a moment later he was saying: " Ow! Why did you kick me?" under his breath to Leeli.

"What?.....see what everyday?" Leela looked at them.

"Well she's and albino.....isn't she? Most saiyans have black hair." Leeli said quickly. "Except in certain circumstances like ours that it."

"Oh, that." Leela laughed and braided Destiny's hair. "She's just special that way, aren't you Des-chan?" Destiny looked up with a smile.

"Uh huh, special but not better." They laughed.

"I see you kept her modest." Goten was smiling.

"Ki can build a tower!" Kin put in, causing more smiles.

"Kiyoshi, Kin and Destiny love blocks." Leela explained.

"Kiyoshi sounds familiar...." Goten looked at Leeli.

"Hai it sounds like Koshi, that's why I named him Kiyoshi." Leela smiled. "Well that and the fact that he's quiet all the time." They laughed.

"Ki, what do you like to do?" Leeli asked putting Kim on the floor. Kiyoshi wouldn't answer, he put his face into Leela's skirt and studded a thumb in his mouth. Kim pulled out a ball from somewhere and both she and Kin started rolling the ball back and forth to each other. Unconcerned with the matters of their parents.
