Part 3

Chapter 1

"Welcome Home"

"Kaasan! Look what I found!" A little boy of five ran up to a pale woman sitting on a stone. Leela turned, her face softened just a little. It wasn't much but it told him she understood. She looked at the frog in his hands then nodded with a slight smile. He looked so much like Lotanks.

"Lothen! Hayaku!" A little girl who looked to be a year younger then he was yelled out to him from across the yard.

"Coming Destiny!" The boy ran off to play with the girl. She watched them with a grave expression. She turned her head and saw the blond haired man was watching her. Fate walked up beside the tree he was leaning on.

"I don't see what you see in her Sin...." Fate started talking to him. Leela looked down at the two children playing with blocks at her feet. Kiyoshi and Kin, the youngest of Sin's children. Both named perfectly, Kiyoshi was a quiet child of three had black stripped blond hair and pale hazel eyes. Kin was like his father, golden-blond hair with coal-bolt blue eyes. His blond hair had a single small strip of black along his right namekian shaped ears. Kin was Kiyoshi's twin, both loved to play with blocks.

"What are you two doing?" Fate walked over and kneeled in front of them.

'Ki making a tower." Kin stated and pointed to the other boy as he placed a block on top of a foot tall tower.

"Will you look at that.... That is a vary nice tower Ki." She smiled and ruffled his hair.

"Aunty Fa! Com'er!" Destiny called to her. Fate turned toward her.

"Ok Des-chan" She called back, she turned and looked at Leela. Her eyes were on her children, she seemed meek and submissive all the time. It was starting to get on her nerves.

"Hey Kin, how's m'boy?" Sin came over and picked him up.

"Tousan! Ki making a tower!" He stated again, Sin laughed.

"He is isn't he? It's a vary good tower at that."He smiled and sat Kin down next to Kiyoshi. Fate got up and went to where Destiny and Lothen played. Leela watched her go with her eyes. Sin picked up Kiyoshi.

"Come on Ki, I know you can talk." Sin smiled and rubbed his nose against Kiyoshi's. Kiyoshi giggled and flailed his arms in joy. He handed him to Leela, she put him back down with no emotion on her face. She was numb inside and out, void of all feeling or thought. The children came running back with Fate in tow. The sun glittered off of Lothen's plain silver arm band that encircled his right arm. Leela had one exactly like it, yet the other three children had arm bands with small rubies embedded in them. The arm bands were a type of brand used to for two reasons: One; to keep control of them and Two; It labeled them property of Sin.

"Come here Destiny" Fate smiled and held her arms open for the four year old. Destiny was her favorite, which was obvious to everyone. Both of their names meant the same thing: A force beyond human limitations that guided them. Destiny backed up and sat down between Leela's feet with wide eyes. Leela looked down at her and blinked. It was a vary unusual thing to do, she usually ran to her laughing and smiling. Leela's mind started to tick slowly back into gear.

A sound like a thunder clap came from the sky, yet there weren't any clouds. A liquid metal looking sphere fell slowly to the ground in front of her. The chain on Leela's neck fell to the ground next to Destiny. Light filled the space around them.

"KITTEN!" Koshi used Leela's pet name to bring her out of the trance. Leela blinked rapidly a she saw a figure extend its hand to her. She shrank back and hugged her knees. Lothen placed a hand on her shoulder, it shook both in fear and astonishment.

"Kaasan......"Leela could feel the children shrink from it and huddle around her. Lothen and Destiny on either side as Kiyoshi and Kin forced themselves into her arms.

"Its time to come home Leela." A gentle male voice said softly. She took her face out of Kin and Kiyoshi's hair to stare into the powder blue eyes of Lotanks. Tears welled up in her eyes.

'How can I face him now......I'm not worthy of him.' She though as she hid her face from her mate. The children were surprised to see emotion from her. One by one the children were lifted from her by the Majins. Kiyoshi holding the hands of Lothen and Destiny. Leela could feel the (V) on her forehead come back to life. She heard Kin whimper as he was taken gently from her. She slipped into the land of nod just as Lotanks picked her up and carried her through the sphere.

When she woke up, Destiny was watching 'The Swan Princess' or rather the music video at the end

"I knew we belong together long before I knew your name, and the only thing I longed for was a sign to prove you felt the same. Somehow I knew your every secret just by looking in your eyes, from the vary moment I meet you I was thinking of the rest of our lives." Leela listened and smiled. "I'm not afraid to say forever, you have made me feel so sure, cuz I know its everlasting and I never had this feeling before...." Leela sat up and looked at Destiny. Her white hair was in a long braid down her back. Leela looked around and noticed she was on a couch. On the floor watching the T.V. was Destiny and two other girls. She stared at them for a moment then gasped. One had lavender stripped black hair and the other had green stripped black hair. Hearing the noise the two girls turned to look at her.

"Kaasan!" They got up and jumped to the couch. They grinned and hugged her tightly.

"Meela? Meeli?" She couldn't believe she had them in her arms again. They giggled and hugged her tighter. Destiny stud up and looked at the trio. She went over to them and tugged at Leela's sleeve.

"Kaasan? Why do they call you Kaasan?" Her face held a distressed expression.

"Come here Des-chan." Leela smiled and picked her up. "These are your big sisters, Meela and Meeli." She held Destiny close in a gentle hug. Meela and Meeli laughed and hugged her to. Tears filled her eyes a she held her daughters for the first time in five years. After a few minutes she heard laughing from outside.

"Tousan is back with itoto!" The twins cheered and ran outside. Leela smiled and went to the window with Destiny on her hip. Lothen was running to the door, the twins came out and all three ran back to Lotanks. The two little ones were playing with a couple of kittens. Kin picked up a black on with white paws and walked over to the four older people. Kiyoshi laid on his belly playing with a pure black kitten.

"What you got there little guy?" Lotanks bent down to be at his level.

"Boost!" He smiled and held up the kitten trying to get its balance. Lotanks laughed as the toddler ran back over to Kiyoshi and sat down with a thud on his bottom.

'Who's that?" Destiny asked pointing to Lotanks. Leela swallowed hard, not knowing what to say.

"That's Lo's Tousan." She looked at her youngest daughter with worry.

"He is Mi and Ma's Tousan to?" She asked then put a thumb in her mouth. Leela smiled slightly and nodded.

"Yes Des, he is.." She said slowly and looked at him again. Destiny turned her pink eyes to her little brothers. They held green strings above the kittens. They batted at them, sometimes hunching their backs and walking sideways with their ears flat against their skull in an attack position. Leela laughed as one pounced on Kiyoshi's foot. Destiny took her thumb out of her mouth.

"Kaasan, I want him to be my Tousan to..." Destiny looked her mother in the eyes. Leela looked from Destiny to Lotanks and back again.

"Why don't you go play with the others Des-chan....." Leela put her down and ruffled her bangs. Destiny smiled and ran outside.

"Wo Tigress!" Lotanks laughed as Destiny tackled him and sat on his chest.

"Tiger! Tiger! Des is a tiger!" Destiny sang with laughter. Lotanks flipped over and started tickling her.

"Yes Des is a tiger, but I'm the TICKLE MONSTER!" He smiled and started tickling her harder. Destiny squirmed and laughed trying to get away. Lothen jumped on his back and wrapped his arms around his neck. Leela hugged herself and smiled wearily.

'I can't........Destiny...forgive me.' Her eyes filled with tears, knowing she had to go somewhere. "Home, I need to go home..." She whispered and turned from the window.

"Hey Leela, can you come here? We need to talk." Ka walked into the room as she stated her message, Leela nodded.

"Ee, I'm coming." Ka walked out again. Leela sighed and fallowed. As she entered Koshi pointed to an empty recliner indicating her to sit down. Leela hung her head and sat down.

"Don't expect me to save your ass again Leela." Koshi chided. "That is the was the last time." Koshi's voice was full of irritation. The still young looking Ouja tapped her foot and glared at her.

"Hai, Koshi-sama." Leela was no longer the young adolescent that had dropped out of nowhere to find her sister. The innocence was gone from her eyes and voice. "You haven't changed much Koshi-Oujasama."

'I guess I should take that as a compliment.' Leela looked up but knew Koshi hadn't spoken. Koshi still commanded obedience without knowing it, and still had a short temper.

"What happened to you Leela-san?" Leela's head shot up as she looked at Koshi's lieutenant. Ka was usually tried to be nice, and had called her Leela-chan until now. Chan was a friendly title which was usually meant for younger people were as San was more of a companion, friendly and casual title. Sama was a title of deep respect, Koshi was one of those people that the Majins always called Sama.

"I'd like to know to....those people were not normal." Koshi was trying to keep her anger in cheek.

"Sin can get to anyone, all of us know that." Mameko as she turned on the couch. Akira and Rumiko sat at her feet playing with a ball. Akira looked like his older brother Kakarrot but had his father's blue eyes. He looked up at Leela and smiled, she smiled back wearily. Akira would be a heart breaker by the time he was in high school. He looked to be about eight or less, Leela had been gone for so long and couldn't place his age. Her eyes went to Kin shakily walking into the room with boots in his hands. His golden hair bounced as he slowly up to her. She caught his tiny wrist before he fell at her feet. He looked up at her, the joy in his coal-bolt eyes made her wince. She could never get over how much he looked like Sin.

Kin definitely took after his father and could be an exact duplicate of him. She noticed the room had gone deafly silent. She raised her eyes and found all eyes on her and her youngest child.

"Come here Kin, leave Okaasan alone for a bit ok?" Tsuko came into the room and noticed Kin. Leela watched as she picked him up and took him into the next room.

"Jezz.......Sin really did hurt you didn't he?" Muzai who had fallowed Tsuko into the room, sat down heavily next to Mameko. Leela had only been back home for a day, but knew everyone was wanting to know her story. Kiyoshi ran into the room only to be intercepted by Tsuko. Leela could tell she was frustrated with babysitting.

Leela watched as Kiyoshi fought to get away from Tsuko. The boy pulled at his arms, so small yet holding his own. Leela's anger flared.

<<SIT DOWN!>> She sent a message to her children as well as a picture of the floor by her feet. << You know better then to act like that!>> She continued. Her face not showing her anger at first, but her body was ridged with the anger. Her anger came loose as she stared at Kiyoshi, so much so that the others were stunned. Kiyoshi's hand dropped with his gaze as he walked and sat down by her chair. Kin came tittering into the room and sat down directly between her feet. Lothen and Destiny came in, looking vary pale, with heads down they sat down opposite Kiyoshi. Meela and Meeli looked into the room, at each other then at the children in a straight row by their mother. They looked at each other again then ran to the play room opposite the room the adults were in.

"What was that?" Muzai asked looking at the children that sat still and silent. "How did you do that Kit?" Leela looked at her then at her children and remembered she had telepathy now. They all stared at her.

"I didn't like Kiyoshi's behavior. All I did was tell them to sit down." She replied simply and looked at the children again.

"A subliminal message with a touch of hypnosis." Kristal who had remained silent until then stud up after her statement with a curious smile one her face.

"You have an iron grip on them." Koshi smirked and nodded at the children. "We could use that with our own charges." She added a moment later. Leela looked at her and back at her children. She knew she was different and would never be the same. Leela unconsciously touched the silver armband on her right arm. Destiny saw her mother's movement and looked at her own armband. The ruby in her's sparkled in the light.

"But I didn't hear anything." Muzai replied to her 'To simple' answer.

"That's because I didn't." Leela's answer didn't have emotion to it. It came out bland and non-chalant. The Majins looked at her with suspicion and raised eyebrows. The twins were at the door again.

"She says it up here, not with mouth." Meela pointed to her head as she walked in and sat down on the other side of Kin.

"With her mind Ma." Meeli rolled her eyes and fallowed suit. Kin looked up with a small frown.

"I sowwy Kaasan." He looked upset and ready to cry. Leela's face softened a-bit as she picked him up and held him close. The children looked at her with wide eyes. It was the third time they had ever seen emotion from her. Leela's numbness seemed to fade away to leave her with emotions long forgotten. She stud up and looked at Koshi while putting Kiyoshi on her hip.

"Koshi," She had deliberately not included 'sama' into the name, "I'm not the same person you once knew, I'm.....a lot different from before......I'm...not a child anymore." The majins stared at her with open moths. Mameko was the first to laugh.

"The chibi majin has grown up." Mameko grinned with he words.

"Widdle kit has bite after all." Muzai laughed with Mameko. Leela turned and looked at the children.

"Speaking of Kits, where are your kids Muzai?" Leela asked looking around.

"Hero and Michael are at school..." Muzai looked worried a she replied cautiously.

"Why do you want to know?" Mameko asked the question Muzai wanted to ask.

"No reason, I just noticed they weren't here that's all." Leela replied and sat down again.

"Kit... You have changed, and I'm not sure if I like it." Koshi was now leaning on the door frame looking at the other side of the frame.

'Koshi-sama...your so much like your father.......you're the one that scares me.' Leela thought as she watched her.

"I like the change, at least she'll bite back now." Tsuko replied with a fanged grin.

"Hay, Kit-san. I didn't catch your broods names..." Kristal now had a spiral bound, hand held notebook out.

"You know the older twins so then it's Lothen and Destiny." The two lifted their heads at hearing their names. " And these two are Kiyoshi and Kin." Leela replied quickly and put Kin on her knee.

"Kin desu!" The little boy took his thumb from his mouth and pointed to himself causing everyone to laugh.

"Yes your Kin. Destiny, Kiyoshi and Kin's names all have a double meaning." She looked at Kristal.

"Ah, I see." Kristal was scribbling quickly in her notebook. Leela looked at the door as Lotanks walked in.

"Hey..." He said quietly with hesitation.

"Hey." She smiled slightly, Kin was now asleep across her chest facing him. He nodded and walked back out, Leela looked at him as if she had been kicked in the gut. She put Kin on the chair.

"You can go play children..." She whispered and fallowed Lotanks into the kitchen. He took a root-beer out of the fridge, opened it and leaned against the fridge with a frown. "Lotanks what's wrong?" she asked cautiously and waited quietly.

"What's wrong?!" He looked at her, the look on his face made her gasp. "You dare to ask me 'what's wrong?'" He stopped and slamed his soda on the counter.

"Why are you mad at me?" She asked, starting to get angry herself.

"How could you...." He whispered and stormed off. Tears fell down her cheeks. Leela hugged herself and ran to her room. She closed and locked the door, then let the tears come as she landed on her bed and put her face in her pillow.
