Part 2

Chapter 3

"Dead Bodies Everywhere"

"Your mine!" Leela turned to see a Hillisian energy blast coming at her. She smirked and started running at it. When she came a hair from it she moved slightly and dodged it then formed her own attack,

"TWIN SICKLE!" Two sickle shaped energy blades were flung from her hands to cut the attacker in three pieces. She crouched on one knee with two more sickles ready in her hands. Leela looked around the bloody battlefield. Nickon laid lifeless fifty feet to her left and Selva was failing fast on her right. The others were scattered around lifeless and defeated. Leela let the sickles dissipate and flew to Selva.

Selva blocked a boom-barrage of energy balls, but had fallen to he knees in the effort. She fell over onto her face when they stopped, to tired to protect herself. Leela landed and ran the last ten feet to her fallen friend, the fallen soldier was pretty mush lifeless, but she hung on by a thread. Leela kneeled and held up Selva's upper body.

"I'm sorry Leela-san.....I have failed..you.." Tears streaked Selva's cheeks as she spoke.

"No Selva, it is I who failed you...." Selva touched Leela's cheek, smiled and knew no more. " Rest easy my friend, your free now.." She let her anger and sorrow take control. Her hair went blond and her tail twitched in furry. Her head snapped sideways as she looked over her shoulder at the Hillisian that had attacked Selva. Her now electric gray-green eyes held his making him blue in the face with fear. The majin (V) appeared once more and glowed bloody red. She got up slowly and flew up into the air, creating her energy blades as she did so.

"So...you think its fun to pick on the weaker ones huh?" She paused for effect. "That's the last mistake you'll ever make."

She crossed her arms then sent the sickles crisscrossing toward the Hillisian. He dodged and smirked arrogantly.

"You missed me." He replied, not noticing the sickles having a boomerang effect behind him. Leela crossed her arms and smirked with the knowledge.

"Ie... I didn't." She informed him just in time to let him look behind him. He did so and was cute in three like the others.

"Why don't you try me now?" A voice behind her spoke cooly into her ear. She turned a split second later to see a ki blast hit her point blank in the chest. She lost consciousness and fell to the ground below. The look of surprise was still on her face as she laid face down in the dirt. The Hillisian was pronounced the only survivor of that battle.

A large disposal ship came and picked up all of the dead bodies. Leela and her team were pronounced dead on the scene and put into the disposal ship. The dead numbered over three thousand, a large toll for a population of only a few hundred more. The last of the population was rounded up and escorted to training camps on other planets as a fleet of Feuron's ships landed on Hillis.

"A shame....SJLB257 had been one of our best soldiers..." Feuron's general replied after surveying the wreckage.

"No matter SJLB260 will be just as good in a few years time. Even as though you can't tell, he is very strong for an infant." Feuron stated with a sly smile.

"Hai......true, Lothen will be our best....in time." The general agreed.

"Make sure he is, your dismissed General Trent." The general saluted and marched off. Feuron looked up and watched the disposal ship take off. The ship had been instructed to dump the load on Niaken, a nearby refugee planet.

As the ship took off one of the bodies stirred. Leela was hysterically trying to get out of the heap of bodies to get air. Her body felt like it had been crushed. When she couldn't get free she started to panic. The smells overwhelmed her, causing her to forget everything but her primitive instincts. She clawed and kicked but couldn't get free. The smells, sounds and feel of the bodies sent Leela over the edge. She no longer knew who she was, her mind was gone.

Three months later, when the ship dumped the bodies on Niaken, Leela finally got free and scrambled to the edge of the crater. She ran off into the forest and stayed there for another month. When she came back she remembered who she was and everything that happened. She stopped at the edge of the crater with tears streaming down her cheeks. Her knees collapsed beneath her. With her face in her hands she cried out her lose, pain, and sorrow.

Leela's armband started to glow. Leela stopped, her mind slowly clicking into gear. She remembered how she had lived the past month like an animal in the forest. Her old hopes and dreams surfaced along with her fears and doubts.

"I cant believe they're all dead..." She sat down, hugged her knees and cried into them. A moment later her eyes went blank, and without knowing what she was doing she held out her hands palms down. She said a few words in the Namekian language and a purple light started to emit from her hands. The light hit the ground below her. Seven small rocks came up and flew around her. They rounded out and began to glow, when the light finally faded the little balls were black and had silver stars in the centers. Leela fell foreword, exhausted by the effort. When she opened her eyes a few minutes later she gasped.

"What in the....."She stammered as she saw the balls in front of her. Reality hit full force as she remembered the horrible battle, but it didn't last long. The silver star dragonballs started to glow, the sky darkened. Suddenly a pitch black dragon appeared.

"What are your wishes?" A feminine voice caught Leela by surprise. "Leela of the Dragon-clan." She looked up and gasped.

'Ho.....How in the world did dragonballs appear?' She though, then remembered Dende saying something about her father being part of the Namekian Dragon family. Only they could make dragonballs.

"Please make a wish!" The dragon commanded.

"Wari wari.....Shegana...I think is your name." The dragon nodded. "I wish for my team to be brought back to this dimension then teleported to this planet." Leela said slowly, choosing her words carefully.

"It shall be done!" Leela smiled, the dragon sounded like a young woman. "Negai ga kanaerareru!" The black dragon announced then flew up into the air with the balls. The balls turned to stone and were scattered to the far corners of Niaken. Leela blinked as the Zeta team walked up to her.

"Leela-san? How did we get here?" Sanjuuichi asked looking around.

"Long story." Leela sighed and started to rock back and forth in fatigue. She fell foreword and fainted. Nickon walked over to her, picked her up and held her in both arms.

"Lets find a some shelter, we'll figure out what to do then.' Nickon said quietly, the others nodded and fallowed.

"So...I take it you'll be in command if and when something happens to Leela?" Sanjuuni asked and crossed her arms.

"I'm first-in-command below the captain....Sanjuuichi is second, your third and so on. We already talked about it." Nickon replied cooly as they checked out a mountain. An hour later they found a cave.

"This will do for now." Zan smiled into the cave and started digging a hole by the entrance. Nickon laid Leela down at the back of the cave then turned to the group clustered by the entrance.

"Selva, Juuni, Juuichi you three go find wood for a fire, Zan you stay here and watch over the cave. I'll go hunt for our dinner." They all moved to do the tasks set for them. Zan walked over to Leela and sat down by her. Night was coming, brining with it cold winds and breezes. When the three women came back, they lit a fire to warm themselves. Nickon came back with a deer and four rabbits. Zan made a makeshift spit over the fire and cooked the meat.

"Mm....what...is that smell?" Leela sat up slowly, her head spinning with dizziness.

"Our fearless leader awakens." Selva joked and handed her a chunk of rabbit's meat on a stick.

"I'm not brave or fearless."... Leela smiled warily and took a bite. "Tastes like chicken." She marveled, everyone laughed. After everyone was done eating, they sat around the fire. Leela laughed making everybody look at her with raised eyebrows.

"What's so funny?" Selva asked leaning back against the stone wall.

"They think we're dead...we can go home." Leela looked at the sky and let the tears come. No one would be able to see them clearly because she sat inside the cave, in the shadowed entrance.

"That's true, but how? We don't have a ship." Zan looked at the fire with sad eyes.

"Now that is not the problem, when they had taken me captive I had just bought a small ship from Bulma-san." She stated and took out a black capsule from inside her chest plate.

"Leela-san! You're the greatest, but we still have a problem......we're forgetting Lothen." Sanjuuichi remarked with a sigh.

"Lothen Oujisama is still with those...bakas." Sanjuuni nodded in agreement. The others fell silent.

"Looks like our turn has come, lets go to Chikyuu and figure out an attack plan." Nickon spoke up when no one said anything. They all nodded and stayed quite.

"That's a good idea Nickon, and I think we should try it." Leela smiled slightly and got up. She walked about ten feet away from the cave and pushed the button on the capsule. A small six setter ship appeared in a cloud of smoke.

"My friends at home.....and I were gonna use this to go to other planets, we were going to travel the universe in it." She put a hand on the sleek black hull and gave a small smile. "Ironic that it should now save us." She whispered and opened the hatch to let the others into the ship. Once everyone was in she closed the hatch and sat in the captain's chair.

"Everyone buckle up!" She yelled 'Koshi-sama would of been the one sitting here.....and should be, not me.' She thought at the same time. Leela's mind began to lock up in terror. The memory of the past four months came back in horrid detail. Her arms and legs froze, paralyzed with fear.

"Leela-san? Leela-san!"Nickon had taken the co-pilots chair and shook her. Leela blinked rapidly and sobered immediately. She turned her head and looked at him.

"I don't think I can pilot this thing right now." She started shaking.

"You'll be fine, beat your fear Leela-san, or it will control you for the rest of your life." he said slowly. "You know and see that we are here with you now." He patted her arm the pointed to the others in the passenger cabin. Leela swallowed hard and nodded. She turned, turned on the engine and let it ideal a moment. Then she slowly pulled the handle back. The sleek black ship lifted off the ground then took off like a bullet.

"Doumo, Nickon. I don't know what I'd do with out you or the others." Leela looked out into space as they speed toward Chikyuu.

"Your something else Leela-san." he laughed. "All of us wouldn't want to be anywhere but by your side." He smiled as he replied slowly.

"I'm grateful to have you guys as friends." She smiled back. A month passes before they reach Chikyuu. Sanjuuni blasted music throughout the small ship, making everyone get up and dance. They were having fun to keep their minds away from the upcoming battle.

"Ship on final approach to the planet Chikyuu. All passengers are to be seated." The computer said as it turned down the music. Everyone hurried to their seats and buckled up in a blink of an eye.

"I can't believe I'm coming home..." Leela whispered with joy.

"Your planet is very beautiful." Selva remarked looking at the blue and green planet rapidly coming at them

'Wait till you see it from ground perspective." Leela smiled. They sat in silence for a while, listening to music and playing air instruments.

"Unidentified ship on course for Chikyuu, please state your ship name, pilots name and id number." A cool male voice came over the com.

"Control this is the MajinXK, captain Leela V.Briefs, ship code 3221KMLT." Leela clicked off the com a moment later with a worried expression. "That's strange......Chikyuu didn't had a ship check nine months ago..." She reflected with a hand on her chin. A moment later the ship started shaking, throwing the passengers this way and that in their seats. The action knocked all of them out. As the ship stopped shaking another ship appeared right beside it. Several people boarded the MajinXK and took the passengers to the other ship.

"Looks like we got 'em sir." An older man with dark gray hair saluted to Sin

"Hai, but this one is mine." Sin shifted Leela's head to look at her face and smirked.

"Feuron wont like that sir." the older man started ringing his hands.

"Feuron doesn't have to know she's still alive. I went through great lengths to get her young son placed in my care, his Kaasan will submit.' He was looking at her as he spoke. 'She is so...different from the others.' He thought as he reprimanded the officer. The ship took them to the other world. Once there Sin had everyone but Leela put into a holding cell. He carried Leela to his residence and left her in a room with a crib in it. Lothen stud up in the crib and started making noises. The little boy watched his mother and stopped making noises when she stirred. She opened her eyes and looked around, her eyes soon falling on Lothen who was now on the floor crawling toward her. She sat up and stared at him. He was laughing and making his funny noises again. He stopped and sat on his bottom. He smiled infectiously then laughed and clapped his hands together a couple times. Leela got up and closed the gap between them.

"Lothen? What are you doing you silly thing." She smiled and kneeled before him. He screamed in delight then crawled the opposite way to get escape. Leela crawled after him saying:

"I'm going to get you!" then grabbing one of his feet only to let go again when he started kicking to get free. He screamed with joy, having someone chase him was great fun to him. Leela picked him up and cuddled him with teary eyes. She looked at him and brushed away some of the black stripped lavender hair from his face. Her heart wrenched as she thought of her husband.

"Your so much like your Otousan..." She murmured with a smile.

"That he is.." Sin's voice made her clutch Lothen and turn to face him.

"ANATA!" She screeched and backed up into a wall, holding Lothen protectively.

"My name is Sin, Leela." He turned to open a window. Leela watched him closely, like a hawk with newly discovered pray. "Don't worry, your son was well taken care of." He smirked and crossed his arms

"NANI?! He was sent to you!?" She asked dumbfounded. Lothen started to wiggle and squirm in her arms.

"It wasn't as easy as you think." He leaned on the window seal with his head out the window. "Oh and I wouldn't try to leave if I were you. I can control that arm-band just as well as Feuron." He turned his head to look at her.

"I wont on one condition." She frowned and watched him.

"And that would be...?" He smirked and turned toward her.

"Let my friends go...." She gave a simple reply and turned away from him. She sat down on the floor and let Lothen play with the building blocks. Leela's heart leaped once again as she remembered her young daughters. Sin left the room, leaving her alone with Lothen and her thoughts.

Leela was helping Lothen stand and walk when a woman came into the room. She had the same blond hair as Sin, only her eyes were different. They were dark brown with dark hunter green along the edges and amber flakes dusting the brown. Leela picked Lothen up and placed him on her hip as she turned to face the woman.

"So you're his Okaasan , I can see why my brother is smitten with you. Your such a pretty little thing." She seemed to be sneering but not quite. Leela frown and narrowed her eyes.

"I guess that's why my friends call me Kitten..or Kit" She sneered back and turned her back on her.

"Feisty aren't you, I think the name suites you quite well." The woman laughed. Leela put Lothen in his crib and began playing 'patty-cake' with him.

"Fate!" Sin's voice echoed toward them.

"In here Anisan!" Fate yelled back and went to the door. She looked back once then went out of the room. Leela sighed with relief when she finally left.

'Now, we gotta make up a plan to get out of here, yes we do." She laid him down and blew on his belly. Lothen's screams of delight could be heard in the hall. When the door opened again she turned quickly to face the person, but to her surprise her friends stud there with smirks.

"I sure do hope you have a plan to get us out of this." Zan commented as Selva shut the door.

'You better believe it." Leela smirked and once again picked up her son. They talked long into the night until Sin came back. When the others left, it would be the lat time Leela would see them for a very long time. Sin put a spell on her, she no longer had a will. Everything she was had been stripped from her as soon as her friends left.

So little was able to be said, all hope was banished.
