Part 1

Chapter Two

"Going to the chapel..."

(Flash-back)

"One loss...one gain, life isn't fair!" Leela hit the brick wall that was used as a fence around her house. The hit left part of the fence missing. "Ut...oh......I gotta remember to use the new punching bag instead...' She sighed and sat down on the front steps.

"What up Leela-chan? You look so down, is everything alright?" Ka walked into the yard after hearing the bricks explode.

"I was hoping Leeli would be here for my wedding....I wanted her to be my maid of honor..."Leela answered quietly with teary eyes.

"I know you did....hey if it makes you feel any better Kit you can come over and play my N64." Ka smiled hoping it would cheer her up and sat down next to her.

"Ok...thanks Ka." Leela smiled back and put her head on her shoulder. "I think all of you will be maids of honor since I cant choose one over the others." She said slowly, "Do you think the others will be angry?" She sat straight and looked at Ka.

"They had better not, now lets go play that N64 before Koshi puts us through another one of those sessions again." Leela laughed and fallowed Ka down the street to her house.

"You know what would be cool?" Ka asked once they got playing.

"What?" Leela asked turning this way and that with the controller. She sat Indian style and stuck out her tongue in concentration while playing 'Zelda: Majora's mask'.

"Lets make some traditions...majin traditions for your wedding" Ka grinned evilly

"okay...what like blow the place up?" Leela laughed and handed over the controller.

"Well that to, but I was thinking more like black glass beads on the veil and in the rice...but blowing up the place is good to." ka laughed and took the controller.

"I like your idea better...we can let Koshi blow the place up after everyone leaves." Leela joked with a smirk and laid back on her elbows. They sat there for a while in silence, just forgetting their troubles and having fun. They laughed once or twice when the other did something dumb or sighed in relief when they finally beat a boss.

"Say...Leela if you were to have kids...would you pass on the M?" Ka was first to break the silence.

"I don't know...that would make a cool tradition wouldn't it?" Leela smiled but didn't take her eyes off of the t.v. screen.

"I guess our tradition is just to be bad." They both laughed at the statement.

"Oh well lets go to the mall or something...I'm sick of this stupid game." Ka smiled as she got up fallowed but Leela who wore a similar smile.

"Yeah, me too." They laughed and left the house.

'Why did Leeli have to go off at a time like this?' Leela thought as they rounded a corner.

A few days later however Leela had a lot more to think about.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!?" Tsuko yelled at the people setting up for the wedding, "I NEED THAT WHERE I PUT IT!" She stomped over and put the umbrella back. The umbrella was big enough to shade five people. It was white with small red rose-buds painted on the edges.

"I told you not to move it.."Leela had heard the yelling and came to see what was going on.

"O.K! We wont move the stupid umbrella!" The man replied and stormed off. Leela sighed and helped Tsuko put the umbrella next to where the bride's maids would be standing.

"I'm sorry Tsuko..." Leela said and hung her head.

"It's ok Kit, it wasn't your fault those stupid bakas can't take orders." Tsuko hid under both umbrellas. She smiled a fanged grin, "I'm just gonna have to teach them a lesson." She smirked and walked back to the house. Leela sank into a chair feeling overwhelmed by everything.

"Not getting cold feet are you?" Trunks came walking over to her with a slight grin on his face.

"Ie Trunks.....I'm not. Do you always have to sneak up on people?" She sat up, ut still looked at the ground.

"It depends" His grin widened

"On what?" She looked up at him with a small frown.

"If they don't notice." Leela gave a snort.

"And that's easy to do?" She replied with a smile.

"With you?.....well...hai, with the others its harder." He laughed, Leela smiled at his antics.

"Well thanks a lot." She faked an angry bark but ended up laughing. They sat there talking for a while before Trunks looked at his watch.

"Ano.... Leela you better run. Its almost 1:50" He said in a hurry. Leela jumped up and ran to the house. Leeli had gone on a business trip about a month ago, but to Leela it felt like years. She missed her terribly and nothing could take her mind away from her till now. A little girl of around three was walking down the hall. She wore a white dress with lavender and blue roses on it. She had matching roses in her hair. Leela smiled at the little girl.

"Michael!" Muzai came running into the hall and nearly collied with Leela.

"She's down the hall." Leela shouted back as both went running in opposite directions.

"Doumo!" Muzai ran down the hall to the little girl. Leela could hear Muzai chiding the toddler as she closed the door to her room.

"Kami help me." She breathed, still a little out of breath. She walked quickly to the closet and pulled out her dress. It to had lavender and pale blue roses on the hems and cuffs. In a flurry of ruffles and satin, Leela had the dress on one minute and was brushing her hair out the next. Ka opened the door and quickly helped her with the zipper and clasp on the back of the dress. The veil had black glass beads on it.

"Doumo Ka.... Remind me to repay you for this.' Leela smiled warily and picked up the curling iron.

"Ah forget about it, it was nothing." Ka smiled. "Besides friends do things for each other, its no big deal." Leela gave a short laugh and smiled affectionately at her friend.

"Doumo" She replied simply, knowing that no more words needed to be said. Muzai came into the room with Michael on one hip and Hero on the other.

"Are you ready Leela-chan?" She asked quickly and shifted hero higher on her hip to balance better.

"Ee.. How are the ring bearer and flower girl?" Leela walked over and held out her arms to take one of the children. Muzai handed Hero to her and shifted Michael.

"As ready as they'll ever be." She smiled slightly.

"Ok everyone knows what to do?" Leela asked as she put Hero on her hip. "Trunks and Muzai, you two come in..."

"Leela! We know what to do, just calm down." Muzai smirked and gave a short laugh, interrupting Leela's babbling.

An hour later Leela was a V.Briefs. Little Hero and Michael had done their part perfectly and were the main attraction of the wedding. Leela was thankful for that. With everyone's attention on the twins Leela didn't fell so overwhelmed. Trunks and Muzai were questioned continually about their lovely children. When Muzai ushered her children into the house, the dotting admirers went around repeating the answers they had gotten from Trunks ad Muzai to the others.

Leela looked at the cherry blossom petals shifting in the wind, everything else faded into the background. The loud noises became the sound of a heart-beat, they seemed distant and monotone. The people were just blurs of colors, dancing to a marry tune only they seemed to hear. Leela watched the petals fall from the tree and the light reflecting off of them.

"Dazing off again huh?" Lotanks sat behind her on the bench. She had sat down side ways to be able to see the cherry blossoms. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders and watched the blossoms fall with her.

"Ee, just missing home that's all." She sighed and leaned against him. They sat there while the party slowly diminished with the sun. The sun played across the lake in the back yard of the Cap. Corp. House, sometimes a butterfly, other times a rose or cherry blossom.

"It looks like a humming bird." Lotanks smiled.

"It does doesn't it?" Leela smiled with him. 'We'd better go help or they'll kick out butts." Leela continued and got up. Lotanks grabbed her hand and got up. They stud face o face for a few moments before they smiled and started to help clean up the mess from the wedding. When it was dark, the whole place was spotless. Koshi, Ka, Muzai, Kris, Tsuko and Leela sat out side in the dark to watch the stars.

"Here Leela, it's a good luck charm I made for you." Kris handed her a necklace with a crystal charm on it. Leela took it and smiled.

"Doumo Kris-san, I love it." She put it on and gave her a hug.

"Your welcome Kit." Kris smiled and laid back on the grass.

"Look! A shooting hoshi!" Mameko sat up and pointed to toward the west.

"Wow..." Muzai replied quietly.

"Make a wish!" Ka said quickly and closed her eyes. Everyone made a wish.

"Believe it or not...but that's the first shooting hoshi I've ever seen." Leela laughed and laid back on her elbows a second later.

"Honto ni? I've seen so many I couldn't even begin to count them." Tsuko smirked.

"I've seen a few, but I've never made a wish on one." Koshi was watching the sky again.

"I need to get back to my lab, ganbatte kudasai Kit." Kris smiled and got up.

"We all need to go inside....' Muzai yawned. 'I need to get home before Trunks lets the kids light the house on fire or something." Laughter filled the air as Muzai got up.

"Ee, same here, Akira will be running a muck by the time I get home." Mameko got up and stretched.

"Thanks for coming everyone.' Leela got up and gave everyone a hug.

"Douitashimashite Kit-chan." Ka smiled. A moment later Leela was alone, watching the stars. She sighed and walked back to her house. When she opened the door all the lights were out.

"What in the world...." Leela gasped as she walked into the dinning room. The table was set with burning candles. A delicious smell made her nose twitch and mouth water. Lotanks snuck up behind her.

"You did all of this for me?" She asked with a jerk of her head to the table.

"Hai, I wanted our first night together as husband and wife to be extra special." His eyes twinkled with mischief.

"Oh really?" Leela smirked, put her arms around his neck and kissed him. He grinned evilly, picked her up and carried her into the bedroom, forgetting about the dinner on the table.
