| Address: Elland Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS11 0ES TELEPHONE: +44 (0)113 226 6000 FAX: +44 (0)113 226 6050 TICKET OFFICE: +44 (0)9068 121 680 Official Website: LUFC.com DIRECTIONS TO ELLAND ROAD BY ROAD From the North/West: Leave the M62 at Junction 27, signposted Leeds M621 Join the M621 and leave at Junction 1. Turn right at the roundabout after coming off the motorway. At the next roundabout, turn left into Elland Road. From the South and East: Leave the M1 at Junction 47 (the last one) and follow signs for Leeds M621. Leave the M621 at Junction 2. Turn left at the roundabout for Elland Road. Parking: There are car parks and street parking at Elland Road in the surrounding industrial estates. Some of them will charge for their use. DO NOT park on the roads, as traffic wardens are often patrolling and you will recieve a parking ticket. Train: Leeds City station is 1.5 miles away from Elland Road. Football buses run from the side of the station or catch a taxi, especially because the route isn't particularly obvious. Alternatively, Cottingley station is served by local trains and is at the western end of Elland Road. An approximately 20 minute walk. Away Fans Accommodation: Depending on the amount of supporters away teams bring, the away supporters will be in the South stand, or the South-East stand. Pubs: The Peacock across from the ground lets away fans in for some games. Man Utd and Sunderland are normally not welcomed but other clubs should be OK, whilst others have stated it is home only. It is likely that the door policy is governed by who the visiting team are.The Drysalters on the Leeds Ring-Road also lets both home and away fans in and is only about 10mins from the ground. There isn't a lot more choice around the ground and those that do exist aren't away friendly for away supporters. There is a lot of choice in the town centre, but many pubs are less than friendly to away fans, club colours are not recommended. Local Fans: We do have a bad reputation, trouble is not uncommon especially in the town centre. However as normal it a case of the few so called fans giving the entire fan base a bad name. It may be best to keep your club colours out of sight, especially in the town centre. After the Match: Leeds is a very good night out, plenty of choice whatever your tastes. Players have been known to frequent The Majestyk nightclub in the city centre. Local Attractions: The White Rose Shopping centre And Leeds City Centre have very good shops and are not far from the ground. |
