Today began great - you respond very well to music - I guess that is your escape and that is fine - you are trying so very hard at therapy everyone is very proud of you - only today when you come out with one eye closed I knew it was bad headache - this to shall pass - TOMORROW - WEDNESDAY AUGUST 9, 2006 - we will find out our discharge date - I am going ahead and sending all your therapy prescriptions to Tifton so everyone can get ready and prepared - we can not stop - we must continue on this long strange trip (as your tato0 says) - we saw the doctor at Pathways today - you will have to see an Oral Surgeon when we get home to find out what is going on with your jaw - things will come up over these next several months as when you were first admitted to the hospital all they did was "save your life" - the important things - and that was your ABI (acquired brain injury) - it is so very hard each and every day to avoid questions - as you just look now - you have go no down to pat - but it is no for everything - maybe that is your saving grace - just say no then that way you are not hurt and  everyone is fine - that is not what makes the world go round - so - we will and can work on the "words" - you see Lee we have a second chance and not very many people have this - we are very lucky - now we know what mistakes not to make  this time around -  now if I could just do something with your dad - as I believe that when we leave here - he thinks he is going to have back "Lee" - I do not think he has any idea - but if that is how he makes it through the day - then so be it - I still can not help but to plan ahead - I am trying so hard to not go very far in the future but it is in my genes and I just can not stop - I have to have a plan - I guess that is why I like selling houses so much - it is step by step - and that is what we can and will do Lee - you see you will finish this even if I have to help you - you will tell the words - even if I have to type them - you will say the words and finish what I have began. . love mom
