I will start today and finish later - WE ARE HOME (APT) - you got sick on the way but that is understandable as you have not been up in 2 days - I am sure "Chilli's Bar & Grill" was very glad it was not lunch time as I was with you on the passengers side and dad of course was on the drivers side "great way to greet guests - ready for lunch" - but we made it in - with dad breathing very, very deep - got a wet cloth for you and dad still breathing deep - finally got you to bed - after a sip of sprite - and you are still sleeping - and dad is "watching" the race - will finish later - but one more step taken on our ladder to recovery - this is a good thing - you have therapy beginning at 10:30am Monday - so we have got to get with it today and tomorrow ...love mom

Please, Please no more yesterdays - it was very hard as you were so lost from being in your medical world - mumbled all day and night - would not eat or drink - no patience and no way to understand or communicate with you as I think you thought it would be a breeze - remove bone and replace - but this was a very serious operation - it brought me so close to May 16th - seeing you swollen - black eye - I could hardly breathe - as I do not want anymore yesterdays - just today - this is what God gave us - today - we can and will make them good - dad just looks and is always on your side - leave him alone - but he too does not understand as he never took care of you or Jay when either of you were sick - you must eat or at least drink or back to the uncontrollable world - one where we have no say and we can not take control - the only words I could understand were mom, dad, ok, yes and no - but you talked all day  and night - so today was today - and no more yesterdays - I am here Lee right beside you and this is where I shall stay - day and night. .
