You start the day off very slow - no therapy - still a surgery day - this is ok - you eat a small breakfast - still upset about surgery - then the phone rings - surgery is set up for Thursday 27th @ 7:30am - funny how things work - now you are all smiles - you want to go "out" and eat lunch - ok all load up and off to Applebee's we go - never realized that there were not that many tables for "wheel chairs" - we all order the same thing - your were very excited with the spinach dip - no salad - just food  - it is good to see you out and about and smiling - you and I could have shared a plate as we have a whole one to bring home you ate all your steak - and a few shrimp - as we must find a "real" seafood restaurant for you to have some fish - to fast passed around here to notice what is on the side of the road - you came in and of course it is nap time or at least rest time - because if dad is on the sofa no one rests in the  "living" quarters of the apt - we just laugh - we have a definite time set now for surgery - and if we are "out of network" I do not know what I will do as I do not belive that you could handle another "let down" - the truth is the truth to you so what you say is what you do - this is good - as I am proud to be the mother of such a truthful person - as you answer every question I ask - I just do not understand the words - so maybe this is the way it is meant to be - you telling me everything - then saying "you mad", and me still not knowing - well you call "sunshine" - no answer - so maybe she will call tomorrow - eat veg.beef soup w/crackers and you are fine - it takes a long time to put you in bed and through much wrestling getting on your bivalves (splints) on your left arm  and hand and left leg - it takes the air out of dad and I both - so sleep tight Lee and please do not look at your phone anymore. I give you some space as I walk out side - just in case you want to call again   . . . .sunshine will call.  .. love mom
