Today was a great day - we all had therapy together - a new place  and a new beginning - you wore your Allman Bros. t-shirt and that was a hit with all the therapists - one's husband is in a jazz band and another was named after the song "Melissa" - which is one of your favorite - all was good and you were very tired at the end of a long beginning - you were very happy as all just bragged and bragged on your determination and faith  - no matter where we go everyone enjoys being around you but when you are told over and over maybe they are seeing something I am missing or I knew this all along - you are just like a new born - no lies, no hate - just love and appreciation - some frustration but hey, who would not be - the words will come Lee - as I began this story and had no idea at the beginning that words would be a "problem" and said many, many times - I will write this today and you will finish it - so . . . today after we got home was even greater - you talked on the phone to Lauren and a beam of light over whelmed you and if you relax everyone does understand what you are saying - and yes they laugh along with you as your favorite "I DON'T KNOW" is said several times when the "Greek" language takes over and you realize these words are not what is in my mind  that are flowing out of my mouth - and laugh we all do . .  I do thank everyone for all the patience they have with you and your continued true friends that call, or come by - that is what life is about - being able for friends to be there in times of sadness, happiness and yes even death - it is harder to hang on to true friendships over the years - and you are very lucky as all yours are still together - thank God some girl or some guy did not and has not broken up the "College Street" boys - for they are also the ones that keep me going day to day - true hearted and concerned for your well being. . tomorrow is a big day as "50" will be here - I am sure it will take dad a while to realize that it is my birthday  - surprises happen every day - especially when we see those pearly whites - you are you in a new world - as no one has been or seen what you have - you are strong and determined - so this is why you must walk and talk Lee - you have a story to tell and I love you. . . . love mom
