I arrive at hospital - you have had a very bad night - the same as all day - Lee you must rest - 45 minutes here and 45 minutes there - another repeat of Saturday - only today more words, many more words - today the tears would not stop - you look and all you can say is - sorry , no, sorry - no - Mom -  You see Lee - Dad and I are given out - but we are the only ones that can calm you  some - Dad ties you to his hand today while he eats a hamburger - just to give you a little room to move - 14hrs - we walk back up to the room - no words- just hugs and silent crying - neither ask - "What is wrong"?? or "Why are you upset??"  and really I do not know if these are tears of sadness or joy knowing you are there and  YOU HAVE A STORY TO TELL" and every time a nurse walks in - hey - comes out is that a hello?? no no you say  - sitter here - love you Lee - relax mom will be back in the morning
