Eyes wide open - Hey there Mom's here - Pinch my hand- hit my hand, hey what is all this for??? What is the deal??Frown at me that is ok - at least I see progress - not much but change is change - Dad walks over - you take his hand ever so gently - lightly pat, pat his hand - and then look at me and Frown - well at least there are improvements - Frown again at me - and I say hey take a swipe at Dad - and not at me - Give him some time to relax - Rob moves and I walk over take his hand and there it goes again - pinch - slapp, slap, - what give - as I look over and Dad is exiting the room with a purple face making these hidious laughing noices - nurses jump up  looking at dad - and at this point I could really care less if he was really choking - I say - I believe that is "I got it laugh" - so he had to exit the room - rub it in Rob rub it in - and believe me I am ready to see tears of joy and not fear.

4:00 - Liz and Lauren are here - Lee mom's here - the look is far far away - but this is ok - not very tentive - I hold you hand and nothing - that's ok - Lauren holds your hand - you look and Thank God - I see those pearly whites - here then gone - that's ok - Lauren leans over straight in your eyes - I keep whispering - Lee Lauren's here - then from nowhere - you pucker both lips - Lee is back as she laughs that famous little girl laugh - I walk close and you start pinching Lauren's hand - when she says  something and you stop w/sad eyes as though you are saying I am sorry - time to go - sleep Lee mom will be right back - You have a story to tell - so sleep and be good

Lee mom's here - but in my heart the look says you are not - you look but you are not there - Lee that's ok  - we all know you are here - sleep tight and watch the race - you glance at TV - then you are consumed - by what - good thoughts I hope  - see you in the morning light  - tomorrow will be a good day as today you breathed - this is good
