You are better and better - stronger and stronger - Lee you are Lee - a fighter for life - everyone is amazed as to your progress - and forward you move - today you sat up is a chair and ate - your coordination is so much better than it was when you had the bone plate replaced - your communication is better - you had gotten stuck on your communication "card" - the one with the pictures, ie tv on, music, hurt, hungry, etc - but when you got to the one with "family" you kept on saying no, no - dad had looked at it earlier and could not understand what you were saying - and then when I came in back to it you went - it had a picture of mom, dad, brother and sister - and you kept saying no, no and rubbing your finger on it - finally I saw - and yes you were right you have no sister - Lee this is just an example - it is not the one that was made for you at Pathways - after explaining that is was just an example - you were ok - so you see Lee - Lee is inside trying so very hard to get out -  they are still keeping you in ICU - just so that everything can be monitored very closely - as you are the "1st" to have gone so far and far you shall go - the days are long and so we began again - as with every step it takes us to get to your room - these are your steps to getting all you need - we may be walking - but Lee you are working to get stronger and stronger - I am trying so very hard - if it weren't for Tommy and Teresa and Tifton - I do not know what I would do - Lee push - push forward - you are heading in the right direction and behind and beside you we shall be - we are still waiting on Tests - still no fever - you are still eating - laughing and with dad - as dad sat down in the chair in your room - and everyone in ICU knew he was having a "good nap" - be good Lee and try, try so very hard as you are doing now - the words will come so you can finish this story for everyone - let the words come - . .. love mom
