| These are posts from message exchanges-(1)NO SEVEN YEAR PERIOD, just 3 and 1/2 years! I am PRE WRATH AND PRE GREAT TRIB! (I also think Biblically God's wrath is over three and one half years, but we'll get into that later.) The Bible says we will ALL have tribulation, but great tribulation is specified, and I don't think the true Church or Christians now will be here for that. Anyway, here's where most of you and I look at it differently. I also believe there is only some days (Dan. 12 has days OVER three and one half 360 day years) OVER THREE AND ONE HALF YEARS AFTER THE RAPTURE UNTIL THE SECOND COMING, but I am NOT "MID TRIB" ! How can that be, you ask! Simple, the idea that the seven year covenant of Dan. 9:27 is broken in the "MIDST" doesn't have to be exactly three and one half years into it! I have researched the "midst" and that can be ANY time in the seven year time frame. I believe everything in the scriptures indicates the Rapture, then the seven year covenant, then it will be broken VERY SHORTLY- (I'd have to study MY OWN RESEARCH AGAIN, but either 45 or 75 days after the Rapture, according to Daniel 12) and that will LEAVE THE THREE AND ONE HALF YEARS, and the temple will be rebuilt in a very short time PROBABLY SHORTLY AFTER THE RAPTURE, and the Antichrist's Abomination of Desolation will come right after.) My viewpoints are not so far removed from yours, except perhaps the definition of "midst"! Daniel 9:27 is the seven year pact, correct? But look at Daniel 9:26- 26. And after the threescore and two weeks shall the anointed one be cut off, and shall have nothing: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and even unto the end shall be war; desolations are determined. 27. So the Rapture still comes before the covenant is confirmed and before thereign of the Antichrist, but NOT TOO MUCH before there is only three and one halfyears left before Jesus' second coming. It is fairly substantial, but I resisted, and got "nudged" again. So I had to take heed. It wasn't a vision or a dream, not even audible words, but it was something major in the prophetic realm that even I hadn't noticed before: Already, In researching Daniel 9: 26 and 27, I realize that the time mentioned so frequently at the end before the second coming of Jesus, is three and one half years, not seven. Let me reiterate a little- Daniel 9:26 goes like this, "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined." So we know a LOT from here, in reference both to Daniel's seventieth week (70th week) and lots more! What we are assured of is that Jesus' three and one half year ministry fulfilled the first half of the week, and when he was "cut off" or crucified it was "not for himself". We also know there's a colon or division right after this and that the final fulfillment of the last half of Daniel's seventieth week or seven years will come with the reign of the Antichrist. So the 70th week goes like this: 3 and 1/2 years Jesus has already fulfilled and the last three and one half years are yet to come, under the Antichrist! The two references and ONLY references in the Bible to seven year period at the end are in Daniel 9:26 and Daniel 9:27, and we've covered Daniel's 70th week. Now the OTHER seven year period is in reference to the covenant. Daniel 9:27: "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." As much as we've studied this verse, we've kind of ignored the importance of the previous verse, number 26, although BOTH have that "cut off" colon in there and contain lots of other similarities. HERE is where I seemed to be awakened this morning. I have already done in-depth research myself into Daniel 9:27. Here are some of the amazing discoveries I have made- first of all that the first "he" is not necessarily the same man as the second "he", but the after-colon "he" certainly is the Antichrist! Secondly that the sacrifice and the oblalion or Jewish blood offerings at the newly rebuilt (or so I thought) temple may never happen. And lots of other interesting facts are contained in this verse, but I want to keep this simple. The "midst", when this covenant is broken, I discovered, can be just days into it, not necessarily three and one half years into it. So, from LOTS of scriptures, not the least of which are some in Daniel 12, which give some time frames slightly OVER three and one half years, I had decided the "midst" of the seven year covenant would be some days shortly after it's confirmation and before the three and one half year point, but would only leave three and one half years for great tribulation, God's wrath, the day of the Lord, Jacob's trouble, and all of the other names the horrible three and one half year time frame is called Biblically. Well, it appears I may have been WRONG, and Jack Van Impe and Hal Lindsey correct after all, about the "midst" being exactly three and one half years INTO the seven year covenant frame! But it also appears we ALL may have missed SOMETHING BIG! They and I would be WRONG, if I what I see now is accurate. Oh, there's still ONLY three and one half years left, not seven, even though the three and one half years into it "midst" could be a fact! How, you ask!? Read Daniel 9:27 AGAIN! The FIRST "HE" could very well also have been JESUS! His three and one half year period of ministry could very well be confiming the covenant made with Abraham and Sarah back in Genesis. And in the "midst" of the week he DID cause the oblation and the sacrifice to cease! He, because of being crucified and risen, took all of THAT away! I was looking for something again, more for myself than for others. After all of the research on google search links about the Daniel 9:27 "he" who confirms the seven year covenant, but is "cut off" after three and one half years (for the sake of the many) and stops the blood sacrifices at the temple, and then the Antichrist takes over to complete Daniel's 70th week for the last three and one half years. I needed to confirm to myself again the likelihood that the "he" who confirms the seven year covenant is truly Jesus. It all made sense except the seven year part started grating on me! So here is some of what I re-discovered in my search of sites. The covenant is not "A" or just any old covenant. It is most likely the covenant made with Abraham and Sarah. OK, in numbers of years, the 69th week ended and Jesus' ministry began the 70th week, and he was "cut off" (murdered) but did it willingly "for the many", after exactly half of the seven years. One explanation of "for the sake of the many" means that only Jewish Christians would have been saved if Jesus hadn't done it this way, or perhaps a better explanation is that NO ONE would have been saved if he didn't do it this way. But the basic speculation I encountered was that in order to include the Gentiles, he had to be cut off from completing the covenant made for the Jews that would have begun at the END of the seventy weeks' completion. So had he not been "cut off" (crucified) and become the blood covenant, therefore stopping the need for temple animal sacrifices (the firstfruits, resurrected from the dead, as GOD, to remove our sins Himself!)and had He lived to the END of the seventieth week, the covenant would have begun for the Jews and cut the Gentiles off, too! THAT IS WHY HE WAS CUT OFF FOR THE SAKE OF THE "MANY"- not to mention the fact that no Jews could be born-again and saved Messianic (or Christian) believers, either, if he hadn't been "cut off"! Not all who KNOW that Jesus is the "he" who confirmed the covenant also realize that the last three and one half years haven't begun yet- many make different rationales! So the futurists who believe the "he" who confirms the covenant is the ANTICHRIST are probably wrong- and I was one of those myself until recent months. The biggest difference between me and the Hal Lindsey/Jack Van Impe types and their adherences like Jenkins/LaHaye and millions of others is that I SAW THE "MIDST" WHEN THE PACT WAS BROKEN AS ONLY SOME DAYS INTO THE SEVEN YEARS, not waiting until three and one half years into the seven. There just is NO SCRIPTURAL EVIDENCE OF A COMING SEVEN YEAR PERIOD ANYWHERE IN THE SCRIPTURES! I figured since the 42 months is mentioned so frequently, that there would just be something like 45 or 75 days plus the 42 months left after the Rapture. So I still potentially believed the "he" could be the Antichrist. But I wasn't even too sure about THAT! I only knew that the FINAL PART of the verse was the last three and one half years and referred to the Antichrist. I DID NOT REALIZE the "he" is JESUS HIMSELF, until more recent months. And yet I'm finding that multitudes of people DO KNOW THIS. Unfortunately, many of them are NOT FUTURISTS-and THEY HAVE THE LAST THREE AND A HALF YEARS in the PAST, not the future. So when it's all said and done, there are still SOME who have it ALL correct, but THEY ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN! And they've been "one up" on me until recently. This is SO IMPORTANT, that, although not directly linking to those sites on google search AGAIN, I feel the need to clarify this all repeatedly. When you look at Daniel 9:27, you must also look at the three verses preceding it, and it becomes crystal clear! How so many have missed this for so long would be mysterious, but I truly believe God has allowed the blinders for a good reason. Perhaps to demonstrate the folly of man, even Christians, lest we get too proud of ourselves? I really don't know. I only know that in Daniel 12 it says that our knowledge would increase in the last days. I believe the 144,000 sealed Jewish evangelists coming during great tribulation are going to know SO MUCH MORE than we do now - and that from our hiding place in heaven, we, of course, will know way more than that! We are now just like looking through a dark mirror, even though we know so much more than past Christians, at least regarding endtime prophecies. And there will be famine for the word of God (as well as for food) during those horrible last three and one half years, so it's a GOOD THING that the 144,000 will know what they will. Also, it says you will be taken before others for your faith, and not to worry about what you will say, because the Holy Spirit will give you the right words. We who have Bibles, churches and websites and google searches even have a bigger advantage now- PLUS the Holy Spirit! Anyway, I kind of veered away from the JESUS FULFILLING THE FIRST THREE AND ONE HALF YEARS ALREADY, then cut off, then the last three and one half years left to come, then the COVENANT WILL be fulfilled, under the 1000 year reign of Jesus, beginning at the SECOND COMING! Real Quick analysis- Up through verse 24:14, Jesus basically describes the birth pangs, which equate with the first five seal judgments in Revelation 6: 1. And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, Come. 2. And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon had a bow; and there was given unto him a crown: and he came forth conquering, and to conquer. 3. And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come. 4. And another horse came forth, a red horse: and to him that sat thereon it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. 5. And when he opened the first seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come. And I saw, and behold, a black horse; and he that sat thereon had a balance in his hand. 6. And I heard as it were a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A measure of wheat for a shilling, and three measures of barley for a shilling; and the oil and the wine hurt thou not. 7. And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, Come. 8. And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood- (COMING REAL SOON!--"Cheyenne Cin") OK, see the parallels in these two different chapters? We haven't reached the Antichrist yet or the abomination, but check out Matthew 24:15, the very next verse: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) and the next verses, through 20, actually describe the flight of the JEWISH REMNANT, because of observing the Antichrist's ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION. So anyone who says they will be hiding "the first three and one half years" of "seven" is ALREADY wrong! And anyone who says they are Gentiles is already wrong. But that is what we are going to focus on here, once I finish the quick summary of the rest of the chapter. Notice in VERSE 21 it says THEN shall be great tribulation, and we know that is three and one half years. The elect remnant of Jews sees the abomination of desolation, runs QUICKLY, without taking ANYTHING, to the Bozrah/Petra hiding place. Next verse, 22, expounds on the importance of that Jewish remnant, because the days are shortened for THEIR sake, to keep them alive. The next verses are saying not to be deceived, not to believe the lie, the deception, because the Antichrist will be worshipped as God, and the false prophet will be able to perform awesome things, in order to promote the Antichrist and get them to take the mark of the beast. This MIGHT BE also directed to Gentiles and other Jews so that they don't take the mark, and so that they become believers in Jesus. Verses 28-31 are working up to the second coming of Jesus, with it in verse 31. Now as far as gathering his elect from the "four winds, from one end of heaven to the other" - in fact I NEVER EVEN NOTICED THAT UNTIL NOW! I always thought of it in terms of four corners of the earth- it doesn't even SAY THAT. I WAS GOING TO tell you all that there is a dual meaning there, both RAPTURE (because the Rapture verses come right after, to the end of the chapter), and the second coming. But God JUST NOW showed me something. We KNOW that at the second coming He will be right there next to the elect remnant that will remain in natural Jewish bodies, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they walk out and watch "the battle of Armageddon". All THAT BATTLE involves is the kings of the earth and the whole world's troops TURNING ON JESUS, thinking they are going to beat him. I don't want to dealve into that subject here, just suffice it to say the two goals of that gathering- and NOWHERE does it say 200 million of them, or even Chinese. The two hundred million were demonic hoardes back at the 2nd Woe, the 6th trumpet judgment. By the way, those who claim the Rapture of the church is at the last trumpet judgment are putting it at the third WOE! I don't think that would be considered a WOE! Just a sideline. Anyway, we don't know how many will be there, but they are there for a twofold purpose. First to kill the remnant hiding at Petra/Bozrah (Bozrah in the Bible- "the sheep pen of the remnant, and the place where Jesus actually will return and then head over to Jerusalem, to the Mount of Olives. He probably won't even set foot or horse hoof down there at Petra/Bozrah!) We KNOW that all of us come back behind him on horseback, and the BATTLE is when he casts first the Devil, Antichrist and False Prophet alive into hell, and then kills the rest of the beastmarked humans who are being stupid enough to turn on HIM! We watch! He wins, we win. He sets up the millennial reign on earth. (By the way, the second purpose they gathered is to TAKE JERUSALEM. They don't!) NOW, back to verse 31, the new stuff I JUST NOTICED, he doesn't gather his elect just from the earth. In fact, the tiny amount of people there in the elect realm are RIGHT THERE- no gathering at all involved. That's not to say there won't be ANY flying through the earth in natural bodies, hiding in America, etc., but we really don't even KNOW THAT! ALL OTHER CHRISTIANS MAY BE DEAD BY THE SECOND COMING, except for those hiding right there, all Jews, and all covered in those "flee" verses in Matthew 24. Perhaps ALL OF THE ONES in the ELECT, come with WINDS (not four corners of EARTH), from one end of HEAVEN to the OTHER, means one of two things- they either ALREADY HAVE CELESTRIAL BODIES - meaning the Raptured and dead in Christ, 144,000 sealed Jews and martyred great tribulation saints from Revelation chapter 14 included. And Angels. And IF there are other creations - I doubt that, but anyway, NOT THOSE ON EARTH IN NATURAL TERRESTRIAL bodies! Now the dual meaning can still be here, the RAPTURE that happened slightly over three and one half years ago, can be referred to here, too. In fact, I have contended all along that the dual meaning (second coming, Rapture) is contained in verse 31, because of the description of the days right before and at Rapture time coming after verse 31. You have UP TO second coming and then you begin again, back to people marrying and giving in marriage, living like in the days of Noah, saying "my Lord delayeth his coming", verse 48- anyway, all of the verses AFTER 31, if anyone doesn't see that there are TWO COMINGS of Jesus coming, that person is a dope! Sorry, but the conditions in those verses in NO WAY could be describing the days preceding the second coming. In fact, the "marrying and giving in marriage" refutes that. There is another verse in Rev.18:23 where there won't be marriage anymore. No way to "occupy" until He comes at the second coming. And so on- not really here to discuss that issue now, either. Too many things for one message. But what I want to demonstrate here is that the RUNNING and HIDING remant, when you refer to such things as not going to rooftops, pray it not be in winter or on sabbath, etc., means JEWS and JEWS only, and most likely IN ISRAEL only! It would be hard to go to the rooftops in most parts of the USA, and it would be REAL HARD to run to Petra! (Unless you were a really great swimmer!) One last thing , verse 36-- 36. But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only. IF THIS WERE THE SECOND COMING, the process of CALCULATION would tell you the day! Matthew 24:15-22, JEWISH REMNANT: There is lots more in google search boxes, etc., about the rooftops and the sabbath pertaining to JEWISH settings in Israel, and lots here telling you, like THIS part: are in Judaea flee unto the mountains -- That THESE are JEWS only, fleeing to safety. ---written by "Cheyenne Cin" or Cynthia Diane P.S. I wonder how many others have noticed that the wording in Matthew 24:31 DOES NOT SAY THE ELECT ARE NECESSARILY GATHERED FROM EARTH? That's not to say that he doesn't translate the earthly bodies for the Rapture and gather them UP! But I don't see ANY earthly gathering here!!!! Maybe the dead in Christ are out "playing" all over the heavens and planets, and he pulls them in for this! |
