Reaching the gate of the theme park when everybody was not fully awake yet, surprised to see Japanese clad in winter clothing with young children in their arms, queuing accordingly and waiting for the opening. With Christmas songs blaring, the opening was indeed grandeur. Mother and I tried two exhilarating rides. One was "Spiderman" and the other was "Back to the Future", very visually stimulating

Morning Osaka 早晨的大阪 13 Dec 2008

The first night in Osaka was an eye opener. Exploring a shopping district lining with endless shops selling a wide variety of merchandise. Cashiers in Japan always spewed out a long string of words when we made payment, not used to it.

Kyoto京都 13 Dec 2008

Visited 3 Kyoto temples .They were 金阁峙，清水峙，平安神宫.

In 平安神宫，a traditional ritual was conducted for a new born baby. It was dressed in pure white clothing. Pretty!

Journey to Tokyo

We took bullet train for 1 station to reach 箱根.

In fact, couldn't feel the speed when travelling inside, but it really
travels fast when we watched it passing by at the platform.

Snowing when coming up the mountain by couch. Wonderful experience! Mother and I took one egg with black shell. The black colour is the result of the chemical in the hot spring. It is said that one's
lifespan is prolonged by taking one such egg.
