Welcome to Lee & the Boys: Through The Years, an online scrapbook documenting the history of Lee & the Boys from it's humble beginnings as a comic strip about the Abbotts Creek Challengers (CA's) to it's current state as a strip about college life. Not to be forgotten is the time in between when it was about a summer camp! Some of you long time Lee & the Boys readers will remember these great relics! So sit back and enjoy the nostalgia. |

"1997" |

This strip marks the begining of the Lee & the Boys comics. As you can see, even in the begining, Dave was still the one always getting into trouble. |

|
This is the 2nd Lee and the Boys comic ever drawn. As you can see this was based on a true story. That is an early version of Dave in the center. |

"1998" |
|

|
|
As you can tell by 1998 the comic had went through many changes. This comic is the only time the chracters were wearing coats and not in their usual clothes. |

"1999" |
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
By 1999 each character had his own look and personality. But as you can see Dave and Al were still the troublemakers of the group. |

|
|
As most of you know one of Lee's famous sayings was "Them boys are all right", although Dave and Al rarely heard it. But in this strip Lee changed his mind about the boys. |

"2000" |

In 2000 Dave moved away and everyone was depressed....well most of us. |
|
|
|

|
|
|
This is a classic example of Dave getting in trouble with Lee. |

Then in late 2002 plans were being made to get Lee & the Boys started back up but now all the guys were in college...But as you can see....Lee wasn't left out! |

We hope you have enjoyed looking back over the last 6 years at the different stages of the Lee & the Boys strip. As you can see it has gone through many changes over the years but the relastionship between Lee and the rest of the gang has always stayed the same! As Lee says...Them boys is alright! |
