RESUME?
Do you know your own resume?
Many people have not created
their own resumes; they have had them done through an employment agency,
had a professional make it, or a friend was being helpful and produced
it for them. As a result, many people do not know what has been written
in their resume.
Study your resume in detail
and be familiar with everything. Develop a clear understanding of your
education, experience, interests, responsibilities and skills, and how
they relate to the organization and position for which you are interviewing.
When looking at your resume, try to remember specific examples from other
positions (i.e. volunteer, work experience, employment, etc.) that will
highlight your skills.
Employers will ask questions during an interview about your resume to confirm specific information. Discrepancies are suspicious, which may be enough so you don't get another interview or the job. You certainly don't want to goof up on this!! It would be like jumping over a wide crack in the ground; you can either land on your feet on the other side, or you can fall.
