| {song explanation} (its about finding your place in life. its about where you find your faith. the title is a reference to david koresh and the waco cult. the reference in the title of the full length is to jim jones and guyana, the grape flavor-aid massacre. why so much trouble and confusion over the struggle to find a faith in something? we all need to feel a part of something bigger whether it be music, politics, religion, whatever. this desire can consume. this desire can extinguish. this desire can change you from prince to pauper and back again. sometimes misguided... so it begs the question is it better to be misguided and have purpose or to always hold out and never find true north? i'm not sure of the answer for any of you... where you find your reason to live is personal and i am not trying to exploit it. the reason i continue to live on, and everyone in loaded for bear does, is a personal decision we each have made and respectfully so. the struggle, the sacrifice, the turmoil... and all for a glimmer of hope...) |
