( this song is basically about observations made when i first entered the "hardcore scene". it mocks scene politics, something i never had to deal with when i attended metal shows, and the cliques created by this fractured genre. it likens the "scene" to high school, where cliques reign and differences divide and part the waters. we need to unite. we need to come together. its about whats in our hearts and the way we speak, the way we feel and think, and no the style, not the clothes, no the fashions or the differences between grind, thrash and old school.) |
