| What a Cave Woman Would Say if She Could Talk A Dramatic Monologue I live in big hole in big rock I hide in there while big fire in sky burn ground little ones run around and fight and play with stone I watch them make sure they no ouch man sat around and watched animals man waited for me to gather food man leave when big fire in sky gone make other little ones with other woman man not want be together or watch little ones just want make more little ones me no understand man no make me bend mouth I bash him on head with big stick now I watch little ones and keep safe and try make bend their mouths when man or woman or beast come I bash with big stick I get water after big fire in sky gone because white light not burn skin I get water for little ones little ones my life little ones everything I want little ones get big and strong like other man and woman I bend mouth watching little ones get big then I fall apart and become white sticks and stones |
