| I Asked The Greats i asked the greats for the secrets of love but in their words i found to my dismay that though they knew no more than others they tried to pen their knowledge anyway and now with empathy i sadly say no man knows love, or i am less than him let others falsely think they know the way and make eternal vows to seraphim i'll dance with dryads nude in lighting dim i'll play their nightly games and learn them well i'll seize the night and act on every whim i'll drench the fires boiling blood to brim with the gentle warmth of girls with perfumed smells until the blood within me calmly dwells Back to Index E-mail the Poet |
