A Clean Slate (cont.)

IV.

grey fog
stacked stones
rain drizzles
iron gate
dead grass
musty smell
dark moss
silent air
clouds loom
chilled stillness
gnarled tree
faint thunder
hazy moon

V.

a nude woman lying on a bed
long sleek legs like slender marble towers
breasts soft pillows for a welcome head
nipples blossoming wild flowers
skin white as the feathers of a swan
hair a flowing stream of shiny gold
a face bright as the rising morning sun
a tiny nose the center of the vibrant glow
eyes like stars shining above a dream
lips red like succulent lollipops
a kiss a sip from a secret desert stream
sex like soaring past heaven to never stop
love a buoy in the turbulent sea of life
a steamroller that flattens daily strife

VI.

luminescent clouds capture the moon's soft glow
faint grey cotton puffs in a navy blue sky
radiant stars express ideas of eternity
white specks scattering the boundless heavens
the chirps of crickets form an auditory sea
barely noticeable in the nearly silent night
the sky above the horizon is softened by city light
