| Daydream in Color I turn up the music lie on the couch close my eyes and I�m walking along the bayou alligators slither by in the water mosquitos buzz everywhere the air is hot and thick everything�s lush and green there�s a wooden boat moseying along a bayou band�s playing an ancient song Alligator Sam is playing the banjo fingers flying like mad mosquitos Lizzy the Lizard is playing the harmonica with the longing of a young girl in love Johnny the Bullfrog is playing the jug keeping time with all three hundred of his pounds and the Voodoo Snake is playing the washboard slithering from side to side with a smile the size of Louisiana I smile and listen to the music everyone�s talked about since the beginning of music in the bayou it�s jazz it�s blues it�s folk it�s cajun it�s zeideco and the song�s called �Everything�s Fine� |
