Ledbury YFC Win the 2007 Rally,
That is the 5th time in 6 years. Hopfully carry on next year and make it 6 out of 7. After a year off, where we concentrated more on the social side of young farmers, we went into this years event to win.
With the Overall first place, Ledbury YFC also won the Exhibition, which was the First time we have won it since even our older members can remember, not even Lindsey can remember the last time. |

After Coming 1st out of eleven students at the Auctioneering competition at The Royal Agricultural College Cirencester, Nicholas Strelczuk went on the represent the college in London. The semi-finals took place on Wednesday 15th November at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Head Quarters in London, where twenty one competitors from around the country, students and professionals, all took part in the competition.
Nick qualified for the Final with three professionals, being the only student in the final the pressure was on to do well. In the final Nicholas Strelczuk won the overall Award from best student, and also came second overall. |

Paintballing
On Sunday the 5th 21 Ledbury Young Farmer Members went paintballing at Leominster.
The members were split into two teams as war fare began. The red team tok an early lead of five points. From here the blue team found it hard to come back. Four rounds later and the red team were winning buy a long way. The end of the day ended with the red team leed by the amazing Nick Startrek taking first place.
Fun was had by all and im sure a lot of people were in a lot of pain for the following week from being shot so many times. |

Matthew Samuals Wins two trophies at the Herefordshire Young Farmers Ploughing Match. The first was for Class 2 Reversible Plough, under 21, and the second was for the best plough man overall on the day.
Ledbury Won many domestic classes and managed to be placed in many other competitions however over all Ledbury only managed Second place, 37 points behind Welsh Newton. |

Ledbury's Younger Members went in to Junior Field with high hopes, They managed to win the Stockjudging but only managed 4th over all on the day. Welsh newton won the event over all.
Ledbury YFC went on there annual canoeing trip, where dez used his paddle to smack matt around the head, and we all ended up walking the majority of the why again. Note for next year, dont hire any boats. |

After a fun filled AGM, producing more information for the ever growing gossip book, HFYFC held its annual rally, ledbury turned up in force yet again.
Although the club did very well we only managed to come 2nd. Welsh Newton won over all on the day. |

Ledbury YFC held a car treasure hunt on the Bank Holiday Monday, which started at the church in Bosbury. Mark Wadleys Team came First with Heather Barkers team coming a close second.

Ledbury YFC take second place at West Middland Area Panto Finals.
On Saturday 11th March, Ledbury YFC boarded the bus and made their way up the motorway to Warickshire to the Civic Centre where the next round of the panto competition was being held.
Second place ment we did not advance through to the next round, although the Chairman of the club Mark Wadley came away with the best Male actor. |
