Led Zeppelin arrived in America in 1968 and brought some of the greatest music known to man with them. They were an instant super band and rocked through the whole 70's decade until the death of the drummer, John "Bonzo" Bonham. They are known to many as the Godfathers of Heavy rock. Along with Deep Purple and Black Sabbath they helped pioneer its way. Although their wide range of types of music would make the categorizing of them very hard. From Heavy, to soft, blues, folk and many other types of music they had nothing to hold them back. Throughout the 70's they came out with 9 albums, one released after Bonzo's death titled CODA. Their music is seen in almost all rock bands today as they remain one of the top most influential bands of all time.
The members of the band are Robert Plant (singer), Jimmy Page (guitar), John Paul Jones (bassist), John Bonham (drummer).
