Teaching the Writing Process
By reading and following the advice of Peter Elbow in Writiing Without Teachers, Barry Lane in After the End, and Tom Romano in Crafting Authentic Voice, I was able to understand knowledge of writtten language. I applied it to create the following creative narrative piece: The Adventures of Sherlock Shelby
Reading and discussing Reggie Routman's Writing Essentials helped me to understand the writing process and the importance of scaffolding. By applying what I learned, I created this webquest which walks students through the writing process.
