Le Chasse PBGVs - Harpad de Fin Renard

Harpad was son of Goldorak and Gitane. He was for many years one of Tixier's hunting pack lead dogs as well as one of france's sought after Studs. There are many dogs in the US today who descend from french imports by several US pbgv kennels. Both Harpad and Gitane came to the US for their retirement in January 2001. I will never forget the day they arrived and saw Goldorak for the first time. You could see the sheer joy of recognition reflected in their response to one another...Clearly, it made the adjustment for each of these older dogs that much easier... Harpad was a gentle soul who was very happy to be a lap dog. He never did prefer toys like his dad, but he relished his chew bones and his cookies. His favorite place though was always amidst my garden where he could watch others play or nap. He, too was wonderful with puppies or other members of the pack...Rest well dear Harpad....Your legas y lives on around the world...
