| Three and a half months and I managed not to throw myself off, or jump out of any single thing. I hoped to do a trek on both the North and South Islands and travel down to Stewart Island, and I was able to accomplish all three things. I also got nicely sidetracked in Raglan for a while, and spent some of the time learning to surf. Unfortunately, my camera broke during my time in NZ and they don't have any camera repair shops, well three, in the whole country. As a result of this, I don't have nearly as many photos as I'd like of NZ, which does possess some simply beautiful landscapes. | ||||||||||

| Auckland Bay of Islands Bay of Islands: Dolphin Watching Cape Reinga and 90 Mile Beach Auckland revisited Coramandel Raglan Tongariro Nat. Park This was the first of the two treks that I did in New Zealand. I went with John, Esther and Frieda whom I'd met in Raglan. It ended up being a four day trek on the Tongariro Northern Circuit. |
