| So far, I can say that Laos is the least developed of all the countries I so far visited in SE Asia. For the first time, I find myself free of Mcdonald's shadow, I've seen no American chains in this country. The travel scene here is definitely a contrast to Thailand, you get a sense that they're several years behind. All in all, it's a good place to chill out in, which exactly what I've been doing since arriving. | |||||||||
