| Many people who have met me on the road will remember my Cowboy Hat. I've travelled with it since 2000. It was a graduation gift from my college roommate Dan, and I've worn it on the road ever since. The hat has taken a lot of beating from me, and gone through numerous changes, including getting earmuffs sewn into it while I worked in the Alps during 2000/2001. It's still holding up, though I need to make the occasional repair to it. I've found it very, very practical, believe it or not. Having a hat with a large brim is excellent in hot countries when the sun's beating down, and helps in the rain as well. I've finally put together a album of all the photos I have of the cowboy hat around the world, so Dan, I hope you enjoy seeing where the hat's been over the past five years. |
