Cool Banana's Photos
For most of my time at Cool Banana's, I had no camera.  Most of these photos are ones that I got from other people.  I need to thank all of them for helping me out in this manner.
Cool Banana's These are some photos from around the hostel, just to give one a feel for the place.

Daytime Lounging Cool Banana's during the daytime was quite a relaxing place, starting with a cup of coffee and a morning constitutional.  My exercise was general trying to beat the pack to the tucka truck when it stopped daily after hitting the worksites.

Evening in the Hostel During the week, the sun would set, I'd shower and up till Christmas Binkie could be seen firing up the barby.  Some nights were quite quiet, others a bit more boisterous

The Parties They were wild, they were crazy, and they always a good time.  I'm still waiting for photos from some of you for the parties that I have no photos of.  C'mon, send them over, and.....Dahoooooo!

Christmas It was one of the best and certainly the wildest Christmases that I've ever had.  There's no Dahu like Christmas Dahu!

Working This is a loose term.  Greg quickly learned not to ask me to anything that I couldn't dress up for.  During my sojourn at Cool Banana's I pretty much did every job there was:  Yard Boy, Cleaning Maid, Kitchen Bitch, Living Room Dust Bunny, Tour Guide, Activities Director, Pimp, and my final job designation:  Concierge.

Kayak Tour Luke and Lindsay run the Evening Kayak Tours in Agnes Water, which includes Kangaroo watching, followed by Kayaking to a beach to watch the sun set while sipping on a bag of Goon.   I'd been in Agnes for over 2 months before they finally convinced me to go out, but I'm very glad they did, it's lovely.

Scooter Roo
Rod runs the vehicle rental shop in Agnes as well as doing the free morning tours and the afternoon Scooter Roo/Chopper Roo tours.  These are about 3 hours long, and involve driving all over Agnes and 1770, finishing at The Tree to watch the sun set with a stubby and wedges.

Great Barrier Reef Agnes is at the Southern end of the Great Barrier Reef.  In January, I finally went out for a day of Diving which Don gave me a great deal on.

The Boy's Pad Some of the guys at Cool Banana's found work at one of the many construction sites in town and moved into the free apartment the company gave them.  It had a rather Canadian feel to the place.

Lizards photos by Julia.  Julia took these photos and I couldn't resist putting them online.

Flying photos by Stef.  Bruce (G'day, Bruce!) runs the flying tours in Agnes Water, which were the best value flight tours I've ever heard of.

Good Bye Agnes Water It took three and a half months for me to leave Agnes and Cool Banana's, saying good bye to everyone on that final day took me several hours.  It was an amazing place, and an amazing time. To everyone that was there: Thank You!  To everyone that was not:  Go!
