| 276 12/01/04 A Life Within A Box (Of Shadow & Light) Crawl out of the shadows and in towards the light, Up to the wall in your direct line of sight, Stand up and gaze at the wonder that's before you, A history of my life that I'll now share with you In order from the very start until the present day, For I've always looked at my life in this way, You can look at the pictures one by one, As they cycle through till you are done From the ceiling to the floor the sunlight sweeps through, Creating streaks of light with their shadows to view, Ever changing as the sun moves across the sky during the day, Followed by the moon's glow to light the way And when the time comes where you feel you must leave, Look out to the setting sun and believe, That the end to this journey lies in the end of the day, Just climb out the window to finish your stay. |
