The last German plane over Britain during WWII was an Arado 234 above Scotland on April 10, 1945. As a reconnaissance-bomber, the Ar234 was introduced on a limited scale in the autumn of 1944. Because Allied air attacks severely hampered production, only a small number ever reached operational units of the Luftwaffe.
