But instead of finding Rosie, he came across a grasshopper named Jed. So Tootsie asked Jed what he was doing. Jed said, I am looking for the most delicious piece of grass land in the world.
Tootsie looked amazed at Jed and said, well what is wrong with the grass that is out here in this most beautiful field. Jed just looked around and said, well it just isn�t the same as the grass I am looking for.
So Jed explained: The grass I am looking for is so green and has dew sparkling off the leaves so pretty. Well, Tootsie said, I will help you find the grass you are looking for. But they did not know that they were in for some danger.
Well they went on their way and left the pretty field that they were in. On the way down the road Tootsie saw that there was a stream that they had to cross. Jed said, I cannot go across that stream. I will float on down it. So Tootsie put Jed on his head and started to cross the stream. When all of a sudden Tootsie lost his footing and started to fall.
Hold on! He told Jed. We are about to fall in the stream. And down they went! Tootsie tried to grab on to some rocks. Soon they were floating down the stream to fast. Help! Help! Help! They both yelled. Tootsie felt someone grab him from behind. And it was Rosie to the rescue. Hi! Rosie. Thank you for saving us. Rosie said, you are lucky I came around looking for a good place to rest. There is a waterfall there and you two would not have made it.
So Tootsie explained to Rosie why they were out there. And Rosie said, I know where that special grass is so follow me. So Jed and Tootsie followed Rosie through the woods and out to another pretty field with flowers that glisten and grass that shined like diamonds.
Jed was so happy and thanked Rosie and Tootsie for their help in finding that special grass. And soon Jed ate till he couldn�t eat no more!
