Oh Lord, that I may draw nigh Thee
In humbleness and humility.
Cleanse my hand and purify my heart
Have all thoughts for self depart.

Let me see all others
As better than myself.
Lift me up dear Lord
Remove vain glory and strife.

That my tongue speaks no evil
Or have judgement of a brother.
Only you dear Lord can judge
My works and thoughts for another.

Dear Lord forgive me today
That I may stay nigh thee.
Teaching my patience to become perfect
Your love has set me free.

With praise and Thanksgiving
Only humbly want to be.
Your child on earth or heaven
Walking and talking nigh Thee.
