Now have a look/laugh at the printed letters from BH Morgan, printed Sept/Oct 1999 to the current day. Despite him writing in Dec 1999 that he would write no more on this issue! This proved to be yet another lie, with five letters in the last eight weeks alone! And took offence that I called him a hypocrite! But that lie lies along with the rest, as this section of the website will I hope show. And I hope you will email your thoughts... and maybe even write a letter to the Bath Chronicle yourself! We badly need the views of the actual tourists, the people who gain most from busking entertainment.

BH MORGAN's letters without knowledge of the actual facts could allow people to get totally the wrong impression. And he knows this. Fortunately some of my replies have been edited and printed. But on this website I also have placed not only the printed reply, but the full letter sent in by myself. Not all my replies seem to have been printed in the paper.

First he wrote in regarding my Busker protest, claiming nobody turned up and how embarrased I was. Well, he forgot to mention the BBC SW News Team who made the story their main feature of the evening. He also forgot to mention he was at the wrong place at the wrong time for my protest meeting which was held in the Square, not outside the Environmental Health Officers Office 5 minutes walk and several streets away where he was! And so his letters continued, all making misrepresentations of fact, downright lies & false allegations.

And guess what... the council are actually listening to him! They are planning a new By-Law which will allow ANYONE to have the right to tell a street performer to stop. Even if the Square is full of people enjoying the very same act!

Fortunately This law first has to be okayed by the Home Office though. I'll wait outside The Home Office Buildings when it comes up and wait for the laughter to start.

So I'll start with that story about the new By-Law, followed by BH Morgans gleeful letter that he can soon play God and get any act to stop. Waiting for me to strike my first note.

Then read his letters, and my replies, and other peoples replies. Because I am not alone in realising what a dangerous man this idiot is. Do you really want this man to get his way and force busking to cease in Bath?

All the regular buskers in Bath attended a meeting earlier in the year and were informed of this new By-Law being preposed, and were asked for our thoughts. Everyone of them said it would be impossible to busk under such conditions. It would mean they couldn't play their backing tapes, and any idiot could ask them to stop, and if they didn't they could be arrested and fined £500!
